"Can I talk to you?" I asked Katie. She nodded. She stood up from the couch and followed me. I walked up to our room and shut the door.
"What's up?" Katie said holding my arms.
"I think we should tell the fans.." I said. Katie smiled.
"I do to." She said. I leaned down and kissed her.Katie pov
After our kiss I told Ross how I wanted to tell the fans. He loved it so we are going to take the picture tonight.
"Ross, I have something to tell you." I said. Ross looked at me with a worried expression.
"What is it love?" He asked.
"After you and your brothers left to get food, Lacey asked if she could stay the night. I said yes, but that's not what's bothering me." I said.
"What is?" Ross asked pulling me over to the edge of the bed.
"When Lace asked your mom if she could stay the night she called her mom. I don't mind that she calls her mom I just feel.." I stopped."You feel like what?" Ross asked putting his arm around me.
"I feel like... like..." I looked at him for help. I couldn't find the word I was looking for.
"You feel like Lacey is forgetting about your mom." Ross said.
"Yes. Exactly." I said. I leaned my head on his chest.
"Babe, my.. our.. my. No yes our mom, now, is not trying to take or be Lacey's mom. She's just being a mother figure to her. I know I wasn't there when she passed away but Lacey was so young when your mom passed away that she probably is forgetting what she used to be like. You have to keep that in mind Katie. After these last few years, Lacey has grown and has had my parents there for her because they love you guys both so much." Ross said. I looked at him and smiled. He hugged me."Thank you. You're the best husband and my best friend I could ever ask for." I said. Ross kissed me once more and then we went downstairs.
