ch. 7

THREE MONTHS LATER

Ross pov

well its been a wonderful three months! Katie and Lacey moved in with us. They sold their house. Katie graduated high school. Lacey is now being homeschooled by my mom. And we are just super happy.

The band is getting ready to go on stage. We are super excited because we are going to perform a brand new song. Nobody knows about, not even Katie or Lacey.

We went on stage playing loud. The fans sang every word. When we finished I took my guitar off.

"Hows everything going tonight?" I asked. in response I got screams.

"Great! Well tonight you're going to hear a brand new song. But before we start the song, I need Lacey and Katie to come on stage!" I said.

Katie pov

"Great! Well tonight you're going to hear a brand new song. But before we start the song, I need Lacey and Katie to come on stage!" Ross said. Lacey grabbed my hand and we walked on stage. She ran straight to Rocky. The fans awed and I laughed. I went to Ross.

"Ready? k go!!" Ross said. They started to play a brand new song.

"today I feel like running naked through your street.. to get your attention. whoa oh oh. I broke up with my girl so tell me where to meet?? oh did I mention. whoa oh oh." Riker sang. Lacey ran over to him.

"I dream on, dream on about you. what can I do to make you feel alright? baby I don't wanna see you cry!" Ross sang to me.

"I wanna see you smile! I wanna see you smile!" Ross sang.

"Today I feel like blowing all my cash on you. I'd buy you anything, until I'm broke!" Riker sang to my sister. I smiled.

"I wanna turn your skies from grey to blue. and if it rains ill be your coat whoa oh oh." Riker sang looking at me.

"I dream on, dream on about you. what can I do to make you feel alright? baby I don't wanna see you cry! I wanna see you smile! I wanna see you smile!" Ross sang.

"Let me take your picture baby, I'll save it for a rainy day. I don't need much, I guess I'm just old fashioned in that way. So on the count of three lets see you.. 1..2..1..2..1.2.3... Smile!"

"I wanna see you smile! I wanna see you smile!! Its the things you do, I wanna make you.. smile!" Ross sang finishing the song. I cried remembering that first night three months ago. Ross wiped the tears away and I hugged him. The fans screamed.

"I loved it!" I said to him. he winked at me. I took Lacey's hand and we went backstage. R5 finished the concert and a sweaty Ross kissed me

"Did I make you SMILE?" He asked. I giggled and nodded. Then he kissed me. We walked back to the dressing room hand in hand. The band got ready for the signing.

Ross pov

During the signing, almost everyone wanted to know about Katie and Lacey. The fans tried to get us to speak but we knew we couldn't so we didn't respond or we pretended not to hear the question.

When we finished with the signing, it was time for us to leave. I walked with Katie out to the bus and Rocky carried a sleeping Lacey. When we all got on the bus my dad sat us down.

"I have some exciting news, " he said.

"What?" we all asked.

"We're going on tour!!!" he said. We were all excited. I hugged Katie.

"when do we start?" Ratliff asked.

"You already did!" my dad said. I couldn't help my happiness so I kissed Katie. She was shocked. My dad told us how long the tour would be. During the tour we also had to finalize some songs for the new album.
