Bruce had tried not to keep her too long, which she appreciated. In all honesty she believed her father was overreacting a little. Or maybe that was just because she didn't see or remember anything, but she felt fine. Wasn't that all that mattered. She felt her phone vibrate beneath her as Bruce was taking some blood. She took it from her pocket and saw a text from Peter.

'Mr. Stark called me in earlier. Are you alright?'

As Bruce released her arm she texted him back. 'Yeah sorry about that. I'm fine, See you tonight?'

'See you tonight' He confirmed, making her smile.

"Who's that?" Bruce wondered, putting some stuff aside for testing later.

"Just a friend. They're worried." She shrugged and Bruce raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"You know when the word 'just' comes before the word 'friend' ..." He trailed off his words teasingly, a boyish smile on his face. "Bruce!" She exclaimed "Who says it's not a girl, huh?" She tried to redeem herself.

"Hey, I don't judge." He said, earning a light shove. Both their smiles calmed after a while. "I'm done, you can go if you want." He nodded. She got up, giving him a hug from behind as he still sat in his chair. "Thank you, Bruce." she said sincerely.

"The two of you have gotten close." Tony commented from the doorway where he stood, chewing down on some blueberries. She plastered a mischievous smile on her face as she made her way to the door herself, Tony stepping aside.

"Well seeing you exchanged your title of uncle to dad, I had to get a new one. Right uncle Bruce?" She grinned, sending a innocent smile his way. "Yeah." Was all he could muster with a chuckle.  "Uncle Bruce? Sounds horrible." Tony shook his head, making her giggle again, making her way out of the room to leave the men to their work.

Everyone at the New Avengers facility had  been busy  that day. So, Y/N tinkered away in the workshop and called with Shuri to keep herself busy as well, though the time difference kept them from calling very long. Tony didn't want her up and about too much, he had made that clear, but she felt good and wasn't in anyone's way when she kept to the workshop. After dinner she decided to take a shower. She kept it cold enough so the trickles of water wouldn't hurt the uncovered burn marks. The water falling down her tender skin felt soothing after an entire day of fabric running across it. After 10 minutes she got out, starting to pull her clothes back on and she noticed the bandages she did still have to wear were drenched. "Should have thought of that sooner I guess." She mumbled under her breath, trying to see the ones on her back in the mirror. She took the first aid kit from the top of her bathroom cabinet and started to tend to the wound on her stomach. The water hadn't gotten through to the wound but had soaked the adhesive enough for her to peel it off easily.

It only took a few minutes for her to move on to the ones on her back. "Sh*t" She muttered, glancing at the clock. She couldn't reach it but couldn't leave it like that either.

"FRIDAY?" her phone light up at the sound of the name. "Yes miss?" Came the reply.
"Could you call Natasha to my bathroom please?"

She kept picking at the bandaid as she waited for her to come, without much luck. The door soon opened and she didn't look up. "You know you could knock." She said, standing there in her jeans and bra. "Where's the fun in that. I brought backup." Nat said with a smirk. Y/N looked over quickly and saw Wanda. "Hey." She smiled kindly before calling into the hallway "She's okay!"

"Ah, of course." Y/N laughed "Backup, because I call for Nat when I'm being assaulted and kidnapped."

"You should." Nat said fake offended at her statement. "What's up?"

"I can't reach my back." She turned her back towards them and she heard a hiss coming from Wanda. One of the worse burns had been exposed already. "Shouldn't someone more qualified be taking care of that?" She asked carefully coming closer.

"Nope, just need to put the cream on and put on a new bandage." She shrugged "I wouldn't be asking this if I could reach it myself." she added. They hadn't known each other that long so to be asking this off them felt weird. Yet it was also more comfortable than having her dad do it for her.

Wanda sat down on the edge of the bathtub in front of her as Nat got to working on pulling the bandages off her back. "So, wanna talk about it?" Wanda awkwardly asked, Y/N chuckled. "About what?"

"About what happened. It cant be easy for a girl your age to be pulling other teens out of a burning building." She tried to make her voice sound lighthearted but her face wasn't as such. She didn't talk much to Wanda, or vision for that matter, so Wanda was left with some questions on the young girl. She didn't know why but they always kept to themselves and Y/N didn't pay them mind if they didn't want her to, but maybe Wanda wasn't trying to distance herself.

"Wanda, non of the avengers have had it easy, I think least of all you. So, in my opinion, what I am going through is pretty amazing. I can help people, like I've always wanted to, and I have wonderful people around me that want to help. God, I am having the most deadly assassin from Europe caring for my wounds." She laughed at the situation. "I think I'm pretty okay." A genuine smile made its home on her face.

"Okay." Wanda smiled back at her, glad about her positive outlook on life. "Let's talk about something else."

"How about that boy." Natasha teased with a teaching grin that Y/N couldn't see, but she was sure it was there.

"Oooh, a boy. Now this is the girltalk I was hoping for." Wanda scooted across the bathtub so she could lean her back against the wall and her leg on the side as she stared at her expectation.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She said smugly, Natasha gasped.  "You found out more!" She finished up the last bandage and handed Y/N the shirt that was ready on the sink. "Did you use your seductive skills like I told you?" Natasha and Wanda were both looking at her, waiting for an answer. She merely answered with a smug "no", putting on her blazer that covered up all her bandages well. "Thanks Nat"

"Hey! Where are you going?" Nat yelled after her.

"To find that boy you were talking about." Y/N called back, sticking out her tongue with a laugh, turning back to walk towards the stairs.

"I don't think she's kidding." Wanda muttered astonished, laughing as she noticed Nat's face was just as confused as hers.

"I want details later!" Nat called before she could disappear down the corridor.
