The two of them sat there for a moment until Peter found the courage to lay her back down, but with the grasp of her hand on his wrist, it was clear he wasn't allowed to go far. He lay down next to her on his side as she lay on her back. It reminded him of that moment on the roof, the moment he realised he cared more for her than anything else. A soft smile crept on his face as her head fell toward him, having their eyes meet. Y/N cleared her throat, her skin that had been a pale snow white for days finally forming some colour on her cheeks.

"So where is my dad, and the others?" Y/N asked out of the blue. The room had been silent for so long it had seemed to become the new standard. Peter had to push himself to form an answer.

"Well they found out about this guy called the hood, they're trying to find him." That was all Peter really knew. He wasn't sure if that was all he was allowed to know or if they would have told him more if he were to ask. He was used to being left out and at that moment all he cared about was Y/N waking up, so he would have missed the meeting either way.

"Ah so he isn't as dense as I thought he was." She giggled "Quite the sherlock." She'd always tease her father about the fact that he was always worse than her at solving puzzles and mysteries. Not to say he was bad, she was just better. Her eyes widened and her smile faded as a memory got pushed to the front of her mind. "My biological mother, she's still out there." she nearly gasped, suddenly finding the strength to sit up. Peter shot up with her, his eyes as wide as hers and immediately trying to have her lay down again.

"It will be alright, I'll let Mr Stark know and they will find her. Please just rest."  he pleaded the last part as he would do anything to have her calm down.

She laid back down but her face betrayed her, showing that she was still worried. She stared up at the ceiling for a while, lines forming on her forehead in a frown, Peter excusing himself to the other side of the room to call Tony like he promised. It was when he sat back down with a clear of his throat that she spoke again.

"It was really scary you know. Seeing her twitching, or glitching even, it was so creepy. And then I felt like I wasn't even part of my body anymore. I mean I was but someone else had the wheel you know." Again her eyes widened and tears started to form in her already glossy eyes. "I'm so sorry Peter, I didn't ... " She couldn't finish her sentence, if she did she would have started sobbing uncontrollably as the knot had already formed in her chest. Her eyes gazed over the marks she had left that hadn't healed completely. Some had needed to be stitched, but what hurt her most was how every time he did an abrupt movement, he would try to hide a wince or grimace. He could see the pain in her eyes as her fingertips brushed over the cuts on his forehead. He took her hand and pressed it to his cheek instead.

"Hey, I'm okay." His voice sounded so gentle and soothing, "Everyone is already healed perfectly, and we all know it wasn't you. You didn't do this Y/N. It wasn't your fault." He didn't know how to make this clear to her. He even knew that she would always blame herself no matter what he said, but he would say anything and everything if there was even the slightest chance she would believe his words and forgive herself. And it was true what he said, not one of them blamed her, not even Nat who had been attacked first and had no idea what was going on. Though when she woke up her first thought wasn't to get back at Y/N, she wondered if she was okay. They all knew her well enough to know she would never hurt anyone, at least not without good reason.

Y/N closed her eyes tightly and shook her head, shaking the tears away with it. "So, how are the nerds?" She asked in an attempt to change the subject. "I actually haven't been to school at all. Mister Stark called the school saying I had an accident and was in the hospital so I got a few weeks to 'heal'. So I wouldn't know." He chuckled, nervously scratching the back of his neck. If she knew why he had done that he would have probably died of embarrassment right then and there.

"Y/N! You're awake!" She immediately recognised the voice to be Shuri, a large grin formed on her face as she saw her best friend walking over. Real and 4D for the first time. "Oh my lord Shuri!" all sadness had disappeared as she thoughtlessly got up to hug her.

"I'll leave, so you guys can talk." Peter smiled, walking to the room that had given him to sleep in, but he hadn't been in there yet. He went to sleep knowing that everything was going to go back to normal and that Y/N was now safe and healing talking to her best friend. Little did they know a battle had been taking place during that very moment.

The avengers had been fighting the hood and his Illuminati from New York to Los Angeles to Texas to now end up in Nevada. The hood had sent his pawns their way now that he had heard of the loss of his new recruits. Yet now that they too had been sent to the raft, he now had to face the Avengers himself under the pressing heat and the towering mountains.

"They came to me." He spoke from under the red fabric that covered his eyes, starting his supervillain speech, already causing Tony's eyes to roll involuntarily. "I have always been meant to cleanse this earth. It's the only way! Tony, Strange, you know this, we worked so well together." his voice sounded scarily calm as he would try to convince them to come to his side. But they knew he wasn't the same man and his intentions had shifted.

"That's exactly why we are giving you the chance to step down now, nobody else needs to get hurt. Those people you helped, they took advantage of an innocent young girl, tried to use her as a weapon. They weren't after the greater good Robbins." Stephen Strange was the only one that tried to reason in this situation, any other of the Avengers were ready for combat, even Steve and especially Tony.

Parker Robins, now know as the hood, once worked together with the Avengers but he stranged from the righteous path after years and disappeared. He laughed as if he knew more than the others about these 'aliens'.

"Oh, I know that. That's because there I no greater good or greater evil. There is only those in power, those below them and those against them. Dormamu gave me Power for a reason, and you're idiots if you think I'm going to let maggots like you stand in my way! I will be the new sorcerer supreme!" With that, he attacked Strange with similar power as the sorcerer supreme himself. "Wait." Strange called to the other Avengers. Robins only focusing him in his power consumed plan of attack, Strange only defending.

"I've seen this before Parker! Dormammu's promises are empty. He only wants to consume earth with you on it!" He tried to reason but the once good man had now been consumed by his new persona, The hood. "There's no reasoning with these people." Tony grumbled, waiting for the call to be made. Strange let out a deep sigh through his nostrils, knowing Tony was right as The hood continued to assault him, he gave a curt nod. Within seconds two arrows came whizzing through the air at an immense speed piercing the powerful hooded cape he wore and clamping into his shoulders and the man screamed in pain. They wasted no time in pursuing Doctor Strange's plan to remove the cape from his shoulders. The arrows prevented him from using his powers so the Avengers could restrain him as long as it took for the sorcerer supreme to release the bond.

They finally let go, The red piece of seemingly harmless fabric now in Doctor Strange's hand as the man now fell to his knees as if the power had been drained from him. They could now see his dark, almost black eyes, pooled with blood, and the dark purple veins running from them in an erratic pattern.

"It's over Parker. Let's take him to 'the raft'." Strange turned away, Tony and Cap going to pick him up again but before they realised what he was doing, his two signature pistols went off, both hitting Strange's back, hitting his spine. The sound was deafening to the mind as well as the eardrums and travelled far across the range, sounding as if it was there to haunt them until the thud of the man's knees to the dry ground brought it to be drowned out. As if mere reflex, Steve's fist collided with Parker's Jaw knocking him out with a single punch, the crack that was heard indicating it might have even broken his jaw. Tony knelt beside a still conscious Stephen, stopping the bleeding with a substance from his suit. "We have one hour to get this man some help." He said as Nat landed the Jet next to them, taking off as soon as everyone had boarded.

*I'm really bad at writing battle and villain scenes but I wanted to include it anyway. Let me know what you're thinking and I might edit later.*
