I'm supposed to be writing the ending to "Dristers" but I'm procrastinating. I just don't want to write the end man, I gon cri. Like this story gets sad too but, somehow a story about Drista makes me more emotional. You should go check it out if you like non-shipping content. It's a bit angsty...just a bit, I promise.

A few days had passed since Bad found out Skeppy possessed drugs. He had accepted it, and tried to move on from it. Even though he had his suspicions that Skeppy was still taking them. He knew he had to keep it together for Duckie. Who wouldn't want to lose a dad.

Bad was giving Duckie a bath when his suspicions were confirmed. He washed the kid's hair gently, dedicating his life to not getting soap in his eyes. "You really like the water, don't you?" Bad giggled as the baby splashed around. Like a little duck in a pond.

Duckie flapped his little arms. "Qwack! Qwack!" He had been watching the ducks in the pond earlier. He wanted to be just like them.

Bad finished washing his son, and got a towel. Duckie had a favorite towel, and preferred it over the others. It was a pastel yellow color with a duck hood on it. It was extremely fitting for him.

Bad helped him out of the bath and wrapped him up tightly. He picked him up and started walking towards the door. As he walked down the hallway, he ran into Skeppy. Skeppy was trembling like he had just witnessed unspeakable events.

"Bad-"

Bad was concerned, obviously. "Yeah? What's going on?"

Skeppy sniffled and wrapped his arms around himself tightly. "I keep seeing shadows, everywhere. I- they won't leave."

"Shadows? Skeppy are you okay? I'm pretty sure it's either yours, or you're seeing things."

Skeppy noticed his shadow on the wall, and backed up. "See?! They won't go away!"

"Skeppy! Calm down!"

The yelling made Duckie hide his face in the towel's hood.

"Are you good? You're acting so weird-" Bad's mind finally clicked. "oh my gosh...I should of known."

Skeppy covered his face and cried softly. He had taken way more than usual. The king was completely out of himself. "Tell them to- go away."

Bad had to feel empathetic towards him. If he was lucky this experience would scare Skeppy away from illegal substances. "Skeppy...shh, it's okay. Your just seeing normal shadows. Let's go lay down for the night."

Bad took Skeppy to their bedroom. He dressed Duckie in a set of pajamas. While Skeppy laid in the bed, shaking. "Where are the drugs?" Bad asked seriously.

"All gone..." The king sniffled.

"You better be telling the truth. I'm not tolerating anymore lies." Bad let Duckie roam on the bed.

Duckie crawled over to his dad, and tried to hug him.

Bad watched Skeppy push the toddler away. "Skeppy- that's your son."

Duckie crawled back for another attempt. This time being successful.

"This is mine?" Skeppy let the boy snuggle into his chest.

"Yes! Are you joking?" Bad huffed and got in the bed with them.

Skeppy took a couple deep breaths, looking down at the child. Seeing his kid helped bring him back to reality. Even if he was still a little out of whack. "Shit, I'm sorry. I could never forget Duckie. I'm just sleepy."
