One month later
Angie POV

Things had been almost perfect between Drew and I except for the minor detail of not actually being a couple.
Stephen and I continue to wind him up on occasion becuase it's just too funny not to.

Lexi and Jeff had become the closest friends I had had in a long time and I loved them both dearly despite their repeated attempts at guessing who "the guy" is. Sometimes Jeff gives me this look and I am almost certain he knows but doesn't want to say.

Drew and Stephen had begun a fued and they had a match tonight, to my suprise a slot had been booked out for Drew in makeup with me but I had no idea what for, I never normally have to do anything for him for his matches.

"There's my Angel" is says quietly as he enters the room

"Where else would I be" I smile as he walks towards me

"Oh I can think of somewhere" he smirks

"I'm sure you can" I laugh "so what do you need from me today?" I ask

"Besides the obvious" he smirks "I'd like you to paint my face"

"Ok and now for the serious answer" I say laughing

"I'm serious" he says "I want you to paint my face"

"Oh" I say "what do you have in mind?"

"William Wallace" he says

"Gotcha" I nod "take a seat"

Drew takes a seat and I stand in front of him, I begin by painting a white stripe from the left side of his forehead diagonally across his face and down his neck. Once I am satisfied with how the stripe looks I paint the rest of his face blue. As I do so Drew places his hands on my hips and squeezes them gently.

"Behave yourself" I chuckle "I can easily paint the white stripe blue and send you out there looking like a smurf"

"You wouldn't dare" he laughs

"Squeeze my hips again and find out" I smirk

Realising I'm serious he maintains his grip on my hips but stops squeezing. I finish the blue making sure not to get any paint in his beard and mustache and do a final layer on the white stripe.

"There you go all done" I smile and he turns to look in the mirror.

"Hey you're good at this" he smirks

"You cheeky shit" I say playfully swatting him "of course I'm good at it it's my job"

"I'm just messing come here" he says turning back round and pulling me on to his lap "it's perfect thank you" he smiles and kisses me.

"You better get going" I say standing up

"Aye I'll see you tonight" he says giving me one last quick kiss.

I watch as he walks over the the door, and suddenly I have the urge to say something I know I shouldn't.

"Hey braveheart" I call after him and he turns to look at me

Whatever urge I had disappears and I just smile at him simultaneously swallowing the words I wanted to say. Drew smiles back, gives me a wink and then leaves.

Once the door closes, I let out the breath I'm holding, "I love you" I say under my breath my eyes still fixed on the door.

Drew POV

That was strange, I felt for sure that she had wanted to say something to me, I could see it in her eyes. The thing is it's not the first time that's happened, over the last week or so it's happened a few times, her calling out to me or saying my name and then seemingly changing her mind about whatever it was that she wanted to say, like she was stopping herself from saying it.

For now I need to focus on my match with Stephen, maybe then I can talk to Angel and see what she wants to tell me, if she'll tell me. I'm all to aware that we are running out of time, we only have two weeks and then I have to leave her behind, but the more time I spend with her the less I want to leave her.

"You ready Fella" Stephen asks

"Yeah see you out there" I reply and nod

My music hits and as I head through the curtain I shake all thoughts of Angel from my mind and focus on the task in hand, for now I need to concentrate on kicking Stephens arse.

After the match

After hitting him with a future shock DDT and a claymore I had won the match, I was also sore as hell which is to be expected from a no holds barred match.

Heading to the locker room, I get in the shower and let the warm water soothe my muscles, no that the match was out of the way, there was only one thing left on my agenda - finding out what Angel wants to tell me.
