Not Supposed To Happen

Angie POV

Standing in the makeup room with Esmee I felt really good today, last night Drew had run me a hot bath with some essential oils and had then given me a massage, needless to say I had had the best nights sleep of my life last night.

"you look more relaxed today" Esmee smiles

"yeah you can thank Drew for that" I smile back

"oh" she says smirking

"oh no" I laugh "he ran me a bath last night and gave me a massage, he really looked after me"

"you're lucky that man worships the ground you walk on" she smiles

"yeah just like Stephen does with you" I smile back and she blushes slightly

"out of the way we need to get him to medical"  we hear some one shout outside the room

"what the hell?" I say as Esmee and I look at each other before heading for the door, we open it just in time to see Stephen fly by on a gurney

"Stephen!" Esmee gasps

"What the hell happened" I ask a worried looking Drew who was following behind

"Ricochet botched a move" he sighs "poor guys nose dame near exploded"

"Oh my god!" I gasp

"Hey you're Esmee right?" Ricochet asks approaching her "SCHIJTLEIER (Asshole)" she shouts before her fist connects with his nose and the loud crack tells me Stephen is not the only one with a broken nose.

"Please I'm so sorry it wasn't meant to happen" he pleads

"ESMEE NO!" I shout pulling her back before she can land another punch "he is not worth losing you're job over"

"He deserves it" she cries "he hurt Stephen"

"Yes but he didn't mean to" I say "come on lets get to medical"

Heading down the corridor to medical we give Esmee a moment to calm herself down

"Angel the next time you think about pulling a pissed off woman off some one please remember you are pregnant" Drew says placing a hand on my stomach

"Well it's not like you were going to stop" I say

"I was you were just quicker than me" he laughs

"Ok I'm ready" Esmee says and we head into the room

When we enter we find Stephen laying on a bed, blood all over his chest and a towel and ice on his nose.

"What did he to do to you my little Leprechaun" Esmee says gently stroking his hair and placing a kiss on his forehead. At the same time Drew bursts into a fit of laughter while I stand there not sure what to say

"Shut you're face Gutsy" Stephen groans at Drew, Drew stops laughing and Stephen laughs but instantly flinches in pain

"they symbolize luck & fortune and I feel lucky to have him" Esmee says explaining the nickname

"aww that is adorable" I smile "Esmee has her Leprechaun and I have my smurf"

"what has the doc said?" Drew asks

"well the bastard broke me nose" he groans "and I have to have surgery, I won't be able to wrestle but I'm not out"

"Well thanks to your lovely lady here Ricochet also has a broken nose" Drew chuckles

"Baby what did you do?" he asks looking at Esmee

"I may or may not have punched him in the nose" she grins

"Lets just say he chose the wrong time to try and apologise to her" I say

"do you realise you could be in a lot of trouble for that?" he asks "I mean thank you and I'm impressed but I am not worth that"

"you are to me" she says holding his hand and perching on the bed "if Angie hadn't pulled me off I would have punched him again"

"lord help me are you crazy woman you're pregnant" he says turning his head to look at me

"I'm aware that I'm carrying Drew's child" I say "but I couldn't let her get into anymore trouble"

"well thank you but don't do it again" he says

"so what happened?" I ask

"he hit me with his kick before I positioned myself properly" he says "his foot connected squarely with my nose"

Taking another look at Stephen and the mess he's in my hormones and emotions get the better of me, I turn and look at Drew

"I don't ever want to be in this position with you" I say a few tears falling "promise me you won't ever get hurt"

"come here" he says pulling me close "I can't promise you that and you know that but I can promise that I will do my best to make sure it doesn't happen"

Resting my head against Drew's chest I turn my gaze back to Esmee and Stephen, Stephen has sat himself up slightly and is holding Esmee's hand while wiping her tears with the other.

Pulling her too him he wraps his arms around her and strokes the back of her hair, kissing the side of her head he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

"What you did was crazy, impressive but crazy" he says "I love that you did that for me, and I love you crazy girl" he says

Drew pulls me further into his side and we look at each other and smile, Esmee moves back from Stephen a huge smile on her face and says "I love you too Stephen"
