Two weeks later
Stephen POV

It had been two weeks since Angie had arrived and Drew was still denying that he liked her. But here I am sat in the cafeteria watching as my best friend each lunch with the girl he claims he doesn't like.

They are sat close to each other and his body language is suggesting the exact opposite of what he's claiming. Angie says something to Drew and I swear to god the man is blushing, she reaches up and uses her thumb to wipe some sauce from the corner of his mouth and......did he just kiss her thumb! Yeah don't like her my arse.

He's not fooling me and if I didn't know better I'd say there was already something going on between them.

Angie POV

Eating lunch with Drew had become a semi regular thing over the last two weeks, the rest of the time I ate alone or with Jeff.
I'm just wiping some sauce from the corner of Drew's mouth when he turns his head and kisses my thumb causing me to snatch my hand away.

"Relax" he says quietly "no one saw"

"You need to control yourself" I say

"Control myself" he laughs "do you have any idea what it's taking for me not to kiss you right now?"

"This is just as hard for me as it is for you" I sigh

"Now then lovebirds how are ya" Stephen says taking a seat at our table.

"What us?" I ask feigning confusion "he's a friend nothing more"

"Why won't the pair of ya just admit that you like each other" he laughs causing me and Drew to look at each other

"I don't know about him but I can assure you I don't like him" I laugh "You're more my type"

"Oh is that so" he smirks "you hear that big man she likes me"

"Well ginger pasty assholes are a rare breed, who can blame her" Drew says giving him the evil eye

"On that note I need to get back" I say "but if you wanna hang out some time let me know" I say giving Stephen a cheeky wink and internally laughing at the look on Drew's face, this is winding him up and he can't do a thing about it.

Drew POV

That little minx is going to pay for that later, saying things like that knowing damn well I can't do or say anything.
Looking back at Stephen he's laughing his ass off at my expense.

"And just what is so funny" I growl

"You're face" he says "don't worry I'm not going to ask her out"

"I could care less if you did" I laugh "like she said friends, nothing more" I say getting up from the table

"Alright then I'll see if she wants to go for dinner tonight then" he calls after me

"Knock yourself out" I shout back as I leave the room

Heading down the corridor towards makeup, I'm hoping she is in her room alone, pushing the door open she turns to look at me and bursts out laughing, closing and locking the door behind me I walk over to her.

"We're you trying to make me jealous just then?" I ask closing the gap between us

"Did it work?" She asks laughing

"Aye it did" I say "He's going to ask you to dinner tonight, say no" I say placing a brief kiss on her lips

"I told him I liked him wouldn't it be odd if I said no" she says a small smile on her lips

"Woman you are going to be the death of me" I say in a low growl "tell him no"

"I'll think about it" she says wrapping her arms around my neck

Unable to resist the urge to kiss her any longer I crash my lips onto hers and trap her between my body and the wall, her hands move up into my hair as I deepen the kiss but all to soon she breaks it.

"Stop, not here" she says her green eyes looking up into mine

"We're safe the doors locked" I say kissing her neck

"Drew stop" she says pushing me back "I mean it not here"

"Then where?" I ask keeping her in my arms unwilling to let her go

"My room, tonight, after my date" she says giving me that cheeky grin again

"You're mine Angel, I'm not sharing you" I say resting my head against hers

"It's a fling remember" she says "I'm not yours and your not mine"

Angie POV

Drew sighs and backs away from me and I suddenly feel cold, he doesn't look at me he just looks at the ground.

"Fine, go on your date" he says not looking at me "I'll just go find myself a nice lass to take to dinner"

"If that's what you want to do" I say

Drew shakes his head and leaves the room, truth be told I had no intention of going on a date with Stephen, there was only one man  that I was interested in. I also didn't want him to go on a date with some one else.

I had come to the realisation that we were both getting attached and maybe it was time for us to take a step back.
