Drew POV,
We were waiting for Esmee to join us in the gym so we could start training her. She had gone to change about 20 minutes ago and we were growing worried.
Seeing as she had been there for me, I figured I should return the favor.
"Let me go check up on her." I told Stephen and Angie before making my way over to the locker room.
As I came close, I could hear her mumble to herself "Come on. I can do this, right? No, I can't. What the hell was I thinking?"
I knocked gently on the door. "You alright there Lass?"
"No." I heard her sigh.
"Can I come in?" I ask her as I figured she could use one of those pep-talks we had talked about.
"I guess." She gave me permission to enter.
"So I guess this is where ya need those brotherly pep talks?"
She chuckled but it was a dry one. "A pep talk would be nice about now. I'm starting to doubt myself. What if I can't do this?"
I couldn't believe that the spitfire girl we had come to know over the last few months would doubt her ability to fight. I had seen the way her eyes sparked when she got fired up. She had the soul of a warrior. Any idiot could see that.
"Yer ripping the pish, right?"
I expected a lot of reactions but I didn't expect a full-on laughing fit from her.
"I'm sorry." she said in between giggles after her laughter had died down a bit. "That just sounded hilarious."
I didn't mean for it to sound funny but I could see how she would think that. "Aye, I guess it does."
After a moment I asked her "Seriously though. Did you really think Stephen and I would agree to train you if we didn't believe in you Lass?"
She immediately shook her head.
"Exactly. Es, you are one of the most strong-minded people I know. I saw that fire in your eyes when you stood up for my Angel, I also saw it every time you put me in my place. You have so much love for the people you care about, so much determination when it comes to the stuff you believe in, so much strength that we see in you every single day." He told her in the hope she would believe me. "Now come, let's get you trained. I am positive you will be ready to take on that bitch who hurt my Angel in no time."
"You're right, thanks Drew." she nodded as she a deep breath.
"You're welcome." I smiled at her. "That's what you have an honorary brother for, right?"
"Right." She chuckled. "Alright, let's go train big brother."
Once we had rejoined Angie and Stephen, Esmee turned to face us. "So, how do we start?"

Stephen POV,
"Come on beautiful. Hit it as high as possible." I encouraged my fiancé.
We had been trying to teach her high kicks so that she could eventually use mine or Drew's finisher.
She nodded and went for it.
Too bad she hit it a little lower than we had expected as she kicked Drew right in the nuts.
I heard Angie laughing and Drew groaning as I just stared at her. I knew how tough my friend was so to see him doubled up in pain was a sight I didn't see too often. If I wasn't engaged to her already, I would have asked her right on the spot.
Before any of us could say anything though she had quickly apologized and fled the gym.
I followed her, wanting to make sure that she'd be alright.
I saw her sitting on a bench next to the entrance of the gym so I joined her.
"Are ya okay beautiful?" I asked her carefully.
"Not really." She shook her head. I pulled her close to me in comfort.
"It was an accident, it happens. It wasn't your fault." I tried to assure her
"It is my fault." She disagreed. "I'm such a klutz."
"Stop that." I told her sternly. I knew she would end up overthinking this id I didn't stop her. "Don't think so negatively about yourself. You are beautiful, strong, kind and amazing."
"You're biased." She chuckled and even though she fought against it, I could see a smile forming on her lips.
"Maybe, but that doesn't make it less true."
"Thanks." She whispered as she pressed a kiss to my cheek"I love you."
"Is breá liom tú, álainn" I whispered back to her. (I love you, beautiful)
"That sounded beautiful. Is that Irish."
"Aye."I confirmed. "I could teach you sometime if you like."
"So, shall we get back to training?" She asked suddenly and I could tell she was feeling better already.
"Okay, but let's call in some help from someone a little closer to your size."

Lexi Pov,
When Drew and Stephen had called me to see if I wanted to come and help Esmee train for a match, I had agreed right away. I always had the feeling she was hiding some potential so I was curious to see if I could bring that out of her.
As I entered the gym, I noticed that Esmee had her back turned to my direction.
"So, I only get invited as an afterthought huh?" I asked jokingly as I looked to the people in the room. It was just Angie, Drew, Esmee and Stephen as far as I could tell.
"Am I glad to see you." Esmee turned to me with a relieved smile on her face.
"Good to see you too. So, the rumors are true huh. You're really going to wrestle a match?"
"Yep, or at least I'm going to try to have one." She confirmed.
"Alright then. Show me what you got." I smiled as I got in the ring.
She joined me quickly "You mean actually wrestle you?"
"Definitely, the best way of learning is by actually doing it."
"Alright." She nodded in agreement. "Let's give it a shot."
Without another word we locked up and she showed me exactly what she got.
