Delcallon had ordered clothes of mine to be brought up to his room.

I sat outside, on his balcony taking in the fresh air as the servants continued to unpack my attire.

I starred out at the Ocean that circled the island of Listoria. The midday sun touched my cheeks, giving me a glimpse of the warm weather that was still to come.

I thought back to my dream.

The person Eskar had been speaking to had told the Oblivion to keep me alive, but Eskar had not obeyed them. He had slit my wrists and I was sure he was going to leave me to die. He would not have needed to kill me though. He could have just taken my blood and dropped it into the stream.

The more I thought about it, the more the entire event had not made since. Why had Eskar chosen to slowly bleed me out at all? Why had the person he was talking to, tell Eskar to leave me alive? Who was the leader of the Rebels?

Delcallon wrapped his arms around my waist from behind as he pressed a soft kiss to my temple. "You are stirring Dragon." He stated with a sensual tone that caused my lips to curve up.

I let out a deep sigh, "Who else have you interrogated so far?" I asked distracting myself from my thoughts more than Delcallon.

"Brallon." He stated as he leaned his head on my chin and looked out over the courtyards around us, "He is clean."

I smiled in relief, but I never doubted the Oblivion. Brallon was soft and kind. He could never betray his King.

"His feelings for my sister were rather evident." Delcallon added out with a tone of irritation, "But he is clean."

I huffed out at how Delcallon was adamant about trying to stay oblivious to the relationship that was unfolding between his sister and Brallon.

"Was he upset about being interrogated?" I asked hoping the Elemental had not been as offended and hurt as Laveen or Rosay had been.

"No." He sighed out, "He agreed it was necessary."

Somehow that did not surprise me. Brallon was wise and logical in more ways than the rest of the court. Which was probably why he was Delcallon's Second.

"So." I began as I turned to face Delcallon. I laced my fingers behind his neck, "Dorica and Yarris are next?"

Delcallon nodded as he looked down at me. "Indeed."

His eyebrows creased as his grey eyes traced over my face.

"You are worried," I stated more than asked as I tilted my head to the side.

"I am." He bobbed his head.

His hands wrapped around the dent of my back, "I do not feel my sister would ever betray me." I began, "But Yarris."

I shook my head in disappointment at Delcallon, "I doubt anyone in your council would betray you, Del." I began as I brushed a strand of hair behind his ears, "But, I trust you have a reason to doubt Yarris?"

He released a heavy breath, "Do you know how Yarris and I met?" He asked with a pained expression.

I bobbed my head, "Lewis."

"Indeed." His voice formalized.

"Lewis and Yarris were acquainted quite well." He said with a stern tone, "But, they were also close to someone else."

He looked down at me through lowered lashes, "Eskar."

I slowly released Delcallon's neck as I tried to not think about the fact that Lewis and Eskar were close. I did not want to believe that the man I loved, who had looked after me, was friendly with someone so evil. But I knew Lewis and Eskar knew each other. Eskar had been informed about Lewis being Intwined, and about me long before anyone else knew.
