The candles in the room continued to flicker, and I had focused my attention on one in particular. I was trying to make it bend into a form. A small circle. Nothing massive. It was difficult, but I was bored, and bending my powers seemed like a great way to make the time pass.
Delcallon was on my left now, looking over at the sigils that were beginning to cover my body. My skin felt raw, and I was not allowed to move at all. "How does it look?" I called out towards Del.
He smirked, "Like, we will need to design all your outfits to expose your side." He purred as his finger traced my spin. I shivered out at the touch.
"Stop that." Rosay snapped as she flicked Del's finger. I chuckled out as my Intwined growled out in annoyance to being told he cannot touch me.
But I was not allowed to move, so I got a flick too.
"Didn't mum make that one shirt?" Dorica began as she leaned her head back on the couch. I looked over at me. "The shirt had those ties on the side, but it was open." She traced her side to explain how to shirt looked.
"I remember that one." Laveen laughed out. "I wondered if your mom just gave up, and accepted the fact that you would marry a whore."
I shot him a deathly glare causing Laveen to instantly stop laughing and shift nervously on his couch.
"She did." Delcallon shrugged though, "She figured the only girl who would tame me, was one who was as... experienced as me."
I smirked to myself as I looked up at Del who was now leaning with his back against the high bed. "I am rather experienced." I teased causing his eyes to narrow at me. I stuck my tongue out at him as I continued to tease him. He leaned his head back and released a deep chuckle.
I looked over at Dorica who was crawled into a ball and reading over a book, "What did your mum make for your husband Dorica?" I asked softly.
She looked over her book at me, "Nothing." She shrugged, "My mum felt men should be the one giving me gifts, my dad on the other hand." She looked up at Delcallon, "He made an ax to give my husband one day."
Del looked down at his boots and pursed his lips.
"After Eskar, I asked Del to keep It for me." She added as she looked back at her book, "To ensure I did not throw it at the wrong guy."
"Throw an ax at the wrong guy?" I asked with creased eyebrows.
Laveen thinned out his lips as he hid a smile while Delcallon looked down and met my gaze.
My eyes widened as I remembered Brallon and Yarris discussing how Dorica had 'accidentally' tried to kill him with an ax.
"You attacked Brallon with the ax?" I asked In amusement. It was helpful knowing I was not the only violent one in the group.
"It was an accident." She sighed out in boredom. "He got too close to me so I accidentally started slashing the ax towards his body."
I arched my eyebrow. That did not sound like much of an accident.
"He was trying to comfort you," Laveen stated with creased eyebrows.
She shrugged, "He should have comforted me further back."
"He was on the other side of the room." Laveen burst out as Delcallon began to smirk exposing his dimples.
Dorica just shrugged as she continued to read over her book. Laveen leaned his head back and shook it slowly. He muttered to himself about how he hopes he does not fall in love with a violent girl too.
