After another hour of Delcallon trying to break the firewall in my mind. He felt satisfied enough to call it a day.

It was going to be something to get used to since the wall took a lot of concentration. But once it was up, it was like a sealed trap. Nothing got in, and nothing got out.

I washed up and spent the rest of my day in peace and quiet in my room.

When dinner came, I once again declined Delcallon's offer to join them for dinner and had my food in my room by myself. But now, a part of me was wondering if I was not pushing out the wrong people.

They had all wanted to help me after Eskar, they had all tried to warn me. Brallon had rescued me from the cave, Dorica had been there when I woke up, to comfort me. Laveen had found a way to make me eat, even after I shot their King.

I let out a sigh of guilt. I was actually feeling guilt, which was not a pleasant feeling.

I looked out at the balcony doors and decided some fresh air would help. I stepped through the glass doors and out into the night sky. No one should see me from here, Delcallon had reassured me that the courtyards were private and that no windows pointed out this way. I could use the courtyards if I wanted to at night.

He had been just as accommodating as the others, if not more. I pressed my fingers to my forehead and leaned over the railing.

Oh, I hope that eye heals. More guilt was washing through my veins and I was not sure how to make it stop. Maybe I shouldn't. I should just accept the guilt, accept the pain and start to heal.

I had shot Delcallon, but somehow he was forgiven me. I had not tried to kill him. But I had still tried to hurt him.

The sound of footsteps from below caught my attention. I snapped my head down towards were a maze stood.

"We have not gone fishing recently," Laveen stated as he and Brallon stepped side by side through the courtyard.

I could hear them; I should not be able to. They were very far away, but somehow, I could hear them perfectly.

"We do not have time," Brallon said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"I would." Laveen shrugged, "If I was not training the next Mad Highvarion every night."

I sighed out, I preferred psychopathic dragon.

Brallon turned to face Laveen, "Do you truly think that?"

Laveen immediately nodded, "Yes."

I let out a sigh of remorse. I had caused Laveen to think I was something evil and horrid, and it was no one's fault but my own.

Dorica stepped into the Maze with a light skip in her step. She swung both her arms over Laveen's and Brallon's shoulders, "I want to go dancing." She stated with a chipper voice compared to Laveen's.

Brallon looked towards her with an amused smile, "Where do you want to go?" He offered immediately.

"Malitas?" She asked as she looked between Laveen and Brallon.

"Sounds great." He said as he stepped out of her arm. "I will meet you there." He winked before disappearing into a wisp of color and shifted air. Brallon could teleport, that was his Oblivion power.

"Lazy." She shouted towards the air.

She turned towards Laveen, "Do you want me to walk the way with you?" She asked with a friendly tone.

Laveen shook his head, "I am tired, I am going to call it a night." He said stepping back from her.

"Are you sure?" She asked with a concerned tone.
