My eyes slowly opened up as the cold sensation of water hit my face. I felt the throbbing sensation from where my head had been hit shoot around my forehead and down my neck.
The sun was barely visible, only just rising over the horizon now. How long had I been out?
I could not move as silver chains wrapped around my body, tying me to the trunk of a large tree. The forest air was cold and the sound of early birds sung out.
I slowly looked up to see the scarlet eyes of the man who knocked me out, but also of the eyes of a man I recognized purely from the uniqueness of his gaze. He had blue and brown eyes that glared down at me in disgust. I looked at his chest where I had hit him with a fireball in the courtyard and noticed the bandages wrapped around his chest.
A wise person would have kept their mouth shut and made the men feel like the powerful party. I was not wise.
I smirked and looked into his blue and brown eyes, "Does it hurt still?" I asked with a taunting tone.
He growled before leaning in and punching me across the face. I chuckled out as I licked the inside of my lip where my skin split.
"My brother punches harder than that." I taunted with a bloody smile, "And he is a mortal."
He let out a sinister snarl and strode over to me again. Diego stopped him though by putting his hand on the man's chest, exactly where it hurt. "No," Diego ordered sternly. "The boss would not be happy about her getting hurt."
I creased my eyebrows at him and smirked, "Just bled dry?" I asked with a wicked grin.
Diego looked down at me with a cold deathly stare but he remained silent. I doubted he would give me any information so easily.
I rolled my eyes as I stared at the forest landscape around us. I began trying to call out for Delcallon, but there was a block there. I creased my eyebrows, Eskar's cloak couldn't still be there...
"Do not even try contacting your Highvarion King." The brown and blue-eyed man taunted. "I have cloaked your mind." He stated with a proud grin.
I looked up at him through lowered lashes. "Well done." I smirked, "You deserve a raise."
A deep threatening growl escaped his lips as he pulled out a dagger from his pants. I looked at the dagger and recognized it as the same one Eskar had used on Brallon. "You remember this?" He taunted with a menacing smile. "I may accidentally drop it, into your head." He shrugged.
I raised my eyebrow at him and then looked at Diego who seemed to be the brighter man in the group. "Drop it in my head?" I repeated in a judgmental tone to Diego. "Where do you find these men?" I taunted.
Diego stared at me with blank eyes before looking at his companion, "Watch her." He ordered with a stern voice before turning on his heels and walking towards the edge of the camp, "Do not underestimate her."
He lay on a sleeping mat as the two of the men appeared to change shift.
I narrowed my eyes at the man in front of me and noticed a change in his facial expression as he examined me. His eyes turned predatorial and his lips curved up.
That was not good, but it could be used to my advantage.
He crouched down in front of me and smiled as his eyes traced over my exposed bodice thanks to Delcallon's intervention.
"No wonder Eskar jumped at the opportunity to rest his cock in you." He spat as he began to drag his knife over my cleavage. "You are rather inviting." He purred and I winced in disgust.
