We sat in the dining hall as everyone argued amongst themselves. Brallon was the loudest for the first time ever as he defended Dorica.

Laveen was strangely the quietest as he stood by my side examining my features, trying to read if I was okay.

Delcallon sat at the head of the table with his head down in shame, still refusing to meet my eyes after informing me he had made the unwise decision to send Dorica off to Utohia, after hearing claims that Eskar was heading North towards the land my brother still ruled.

Yarris and Brallon continued to fight across the table as they stood shouting, while Rosay sat quietly examining Del, similar to how Laveen examined me.

"She would not betray Delcallon, she would not betray me!" Brallon shouted with his street accent towards Yarris.

"She attacked you with an Ax Brallon! Think about it!" Yarris pointed aggressively towards him, "You had to drag her out of that palace even though she was supposedly being treated so poorly by Eskar?" He added with disgust.

I narrowed my eyes at them.

"She was scared." Brallon's nostrils flared and his teeth began to grind together, "You did not see the bruises."

"Exactly." Yarris gestured, "I did not see the bruises, it is as if they just washed off." He shrugged with a dramatic voice.

Brallon clenched his fists, "Del," He barked, "Tell them that you saw what Eskar did to her, why she was afraid."

Del looked up at them and shook his head weakly, "I do not know." He sounded broken. "I never wanted to look." His eyes looked red.

"Do you not find it odd that Yarris had these letters where Lewis accused Dorica of all this time," Brallon began, "But only chose now to bring it t our attention?"

Yarris's eyes widened, "Because I thought Del was the one who ordered Dorica to kill Lewis." He shouted with anger, "I now know it wasn't him."

Delcallon met my eyes searching for me to say something to him, to them. I shook my head at him before opening up my wall.

You made the decision without me, then you can handle this on your own.

Before he could reply I shot up my walls, but that did not stop him.

He stood up from his chair, "You did not want to be Queen." He snarled out loud, "So, yes I made a decision because I thought it was what you wanted."

I clicked my jaw at him in annoyance.

"How was I supposed to know that once again, you would change your mind." He gestured towards me with his hand.

My jaw felt like it was going to break under the amount of strain I was forced onto it.

"Alright, enough," Laveen stated sternly, finally bringing the room to silence. "Fighting amongst ourselves is pointless." He shrugged. "Call her back, and interrogate her mind." Laveen stated, "Properly this time."

"Her wall is currently up." Del stated in defeat, "I cannot call her back."

Yarris shook his head and made a tsking sound.

"She always puts up her fucken wall when she is on mission Yarris," Brallon shouted with disgust. "In case there are other telepaths trying to get into her mind." He pressed his finger into his temple, any harder, and I feared it would poke into his skull.

"It will not matter," Rosay stated with a very calm tone.

We all looked down at her as she kept her eyes on Delcallon. He narrowed his eyes and soon I realized they were talking telepathically which infuriated me to my core. I was not jealous, I was furious that he was once again trying to exclude me from important information.
