The sky began to turn a shade of orange and purple that turned the room into an ombre of sunset shades. I tapped my fingers against my thumb as I turned anxiously looking at the door.

I heard the footsteps of Laveen and Yarris approach the bedroom door and I looked over at Del. He stood up from the couch and walked over to the fireplace. He let in a few heavy breaths before finally nodding his head as he shot a thought towards Laveen.

The door opened and Yarris strode in wearing a white shirt and black pants. His purple eyes found my mind and I could immediately identify the anxiety that swept those eyes.

Delcallon turned to face him. "You understand why you are here?"

Yarris drifted his gaze from me to him, "I do." He answered formally. "You are interrogating everyone close to you." His voice was harsh and unpleasant.

"You do not agree with my techniques then?" Del stated as he looked over at me.

Yarris's reaction did not help soothe Del's suspicions, but Dorica, Rosay, and Laveen all disagreed with being interrogated.

"I do not." Yarris stated sternly, "Especially when not a few weeks ago I was trying to seduce Alinta." He pointed to me, "And you are still pumped with Primal Jealousy." He pointed at Delcallon.

I pursed my lips. I had not thought about that. Yarris had offered to 'release' me the night of the attack when I was taken. If he still had those types of feelings towards me, I feared Del would react poorly.

Delcallon pointed to a couch opposite me, "I will control myself." He stated sternly and in control.

"I doubt that." Yarris glared over at my Intwined.

"She is beautiful." Delcallon began as he placed himself next to me, "I need to get used to people admiring her."

My lips curved at the sound of his words. We did need to evolve out of this Primal jealousy, and by the sounds from him, he was really trying. I smiled up at him and he down at me.

Yarris reluctantly walked over to the sofa opposite us and placed himself down. His face creased as he looked over at me. As if he were pleading for me to intervene, but the expression only me my suspicions increase.

Delcallon leaned forward and narrowed his eyes as he glared over at Yarris. The air in the room shifted and I saw the tendril of air appear between Yarris and Del's mind.

"Don't look at her." Del stated firmly, "She is not going to change my mind on this."

Yarris's eyes pained as he slowly looked back at Del.

Delcallon's body tensed as he glared at Yarris. His breaths became shallow as his eyes began to dilate.

"I told you this was not wise." Yarris began with a firm tone.

Whatever Delcallon was seeing was about me. But my Intwined managed to keep himself under control. He took in a deep breath and nodded.

Del continued to dig into Yarris's mind for a minute when his body tensed again. "Take down the wall Yarris." He growled.

Yarris gulped, "Del." He began to plead.

My heart began to race in my chest. What was Yarris hiding?

"Now." Del's growl grew insidious.

Yarris looked over at me and his face turned heavy. "I am sorry." He stated before opening up his wall to Del.

It took a second for Del to dive through the walls and see what Yarris had been hiding. He shot up from the couch with his fists clenched at his side. Yarris remained seated as he looked up into Del's eyes.

"You knew." Delcallon snarled.
