Elmo knocked on her door trying his best to make her open the door, but it was useless. Julie didn’t want to talk. Julie sat at her desk, browsing through the internet, typing random things like Julie, Elmo, JuliElmo, JuliElmo hiatus, JuliElmo nagtanan, and a lot of things kept popping up like: “Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona, nagtanan! May tinatago pala na relasyon! JuliElmo, nagpakasal nga ba sa Estados Unidos? JuliElmo, hindi sang-ayon ang mga magulang sa pagtatanan?”, Julie clicked on all of them until she saw news that she didn’t know anything about.
Julie Anne and Elmo, cut off from all finances by their parents, living on their own resources in the States?
It has been five months since Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona had left for the States on reasons that no one knows what. Families and close friends have decided to keep their mouths shut on these reasons which lead people to speculate their own reasons. Such as that Julie is pregnant, Julie and Elmo have formed a relationship that is against the will of their parents, and such. Although, their parents have come forward to defend their children and themselves.
“Hindi po buntis si Julie. At kung sakali man na magkarelasyon sila ni Elmo, hindi po kami tututol.” Julie’s party commented
“We’ve always been very supportive with Elmo, and we have never doubted his choices. If he and Julie had decided to be together, we would always support him with his decision and we think Julie is a very nice girl. Elmo would be lucky to have her.” Elmo’s party commented.
When asked about the financial support, this is what Elmo’s family had to say, “We want Elmo and Julie to come home, all of us are very worried. They do communicate but it’s just to inform us that they are okay. We have blocked all of Elmo’s accounts temporarily and same with Julie’s, her parents have done the same. We raised our children to be hard-working and determined. If ever they are still in the States, we can assure you that they are living there with their own resources.”
“We’re living on our own resources?” She said to herself. “Elmo’s been lying to me.”
