“Elmo, seryoso ka ba?”
“Oo, Julie! Punta tayo ng States! Kahit ilang months lang!”
“Ano ka ba!? This isn’t crazy. This is insane!” Julie exclaimed as she punched his arm. “’Wag kang mag joke ng ganyan! It’s not funny!” She continued. Elmo grabbed her arms to keep her from punching him.
“Julie, napapagod ka, hindi ba? Gusto magpahinga, hindi ba? What if you were given the chance to do so?”
“Elmo, ang dami pa kaya nating trabaho ngayon. At isa pa, may contract tayo sa lahat ng projects natin ngayon, pag umalis tayo ng walang pasabi, malalagot talaga tayo.”
“Then afterwards. Malapit naman matapos ‘yung show natin at tsaka pwede naman natin pakiusapan yung label about the album na e postpone muna.”
“Papano ‘yung movie?”
“Ilang shooting days lang naman ah. After one to two months, tapos na. Umalis na tayo.”
“What about our families?”
“Sumama na ang gustong sumama. Pero hindi tayo magpapapigil.”
“Ano nalang ang iisipin ng mga tao pag mag ibang bansa tayo na tayong dalawa lang? Mukha tayong nagtanan niyan.”
“I don’t care what they think, Julie. I just want us to get our much deserved rest.”
“You’re crazy. But that just might work.” Julie said as she hugged him. They weren’t together. They were just friends and maybe the best of friends. After working with each other for 4 years, it wasn’t hard for a friendship to form. They both just turned twenty and it was old enough to do whatever they needed to do. They already had visas and passports. They had the money. They just needed for each other to agree.
