{ Ashton }

"Where you headed Ashton?" Mom asked as she walked into my room. Thank god I was dressed because she didn't even knock,

"My friend Payton's soccer game then we're all hanging out at her house tonight" I informed as I grabbed my phone, wallet, and keys,

"Is this the girl that you took to the concert and hung out at her house? You know the one I believe you called pretty and gorgeous and 'absolutely fucking amazing'"

"MOM!" I laughed as she spoke,

"Be a gentleman and ask her on an actual date" she winked and went to leave my room, "When will you be home tonight?"

"I'm not sure. We may all crash at Payton's" I shrugged,

"Okay. Be safe"

I picked Luke and Michael up and headed to Payton's game. I was going to get Calum but he was driving with Grace.

I pulled up next to Calum's car, finding him and Grace making out. Luke, Michael, and I knew we had to mess with them. So we hopped out of my car and went to different windows of Calum's car and started banging on them, scaring the shit out of him Grace,

"You all are assholes" Calum grumbled as he got out of the car and walked around to open Grace's door for her,

"Do we sit with her parents or what?" Michael asked as we walked over to the field. She was playing at this big sports park and the field she was on was in the very back,

"If they see us and like wave us over then I guess. If not we should just sit off to the side" Luke shrugged.

As soon as we got to the field, Payton's little brothers saw me,

"Ashton!" They ran and hugged my legs. I hung out with them that one night and they like me now. That's a win I think,

"Hey" I laughed as we made our way to her parents,

"Nice to see you kids. Does Pay know you were coming?" Her Dad asked, shaking each of us guys' hands,

"Yeah, I told her" Grace nodded.

Payton's game started and I was amazed. She was freaking amazing. She was so fast and had such good foot skills. She had good shots too but the other team's goalie was really good.

Time was wearing down and the game was tied. The ball was passed ahead to Payton. Payton held it at her feet and took off, one on one with the goalie. She did a move and faked the goalie out then shot, scoring!

We all cheered then had to endure a very nerve-racking five minutes for the game to end. But they won and Payton's goal won it for them.

Payton came off the field and hugged her dad first then came to us. She hugged us all, but hugged me last and a little longer,

"Thanks for coming" she grinned as we all walked to the parking lot,

"Yeah of course! You're really good" Michael complimented,

"Thank you" Payton blushed.

We agreed to go get food so Payton handed her bag to her parents then got in my passenger seat. It was just Payton and me in my car. Luke and Michael decided to ride with Grace and Calum. They were setting us up.

The air was a little awkward. Neither of us really knew what to do. I mean, we've kissed a couple of times but neither of us has said anything about it. I guess we'll just see how it goes.

Somehow we beat the others to the restaurant so we waited in my car. We were talking then we both stopped and were just looking at each other. I took a breath and leaned forward, placing my lips on hers as one hand held her cheek. Payton kissed me back, her hand holding my arm.

We pulled away and we were both blushing,

"So, uh, what's going on with us?" she mumbled, looking down and playing with her fingers.

I figured this was coming so I knew I needed to be confident,

"I mean, I like you and I'm pretty sure you like me. Let me take you on a real date and we will go from there"

"Perfect" she grinned and took me off guard by kissing me, but it was short as the hollers and cheers from our friends cut us off,

"Let's go eat" I laughed.

{ Payton }

"So, you and Ashton?" Grace winked as we sat on my counter waiting for the popcorn to finish,

"We've kissed a few times and every time my stomach explodes" I smiled softly, "We talked in the car. He said he was going to take me on a real date. I don't know when that will be though"

"Soon probably. It's obvious there's like a sexual tension there"

I rolled my eyes and got up as the microwave went off. We split all the popcorn between three bowls then went back to my basement where the guys were fighting over what movie we were watching,

"I want to watch Mean Girls!" Luke exclaimed,

"Nobody wants to watch Mean Girls Luke!" Michael yelled back. I laughed and plopped down next to Ashton as Grace fell next to Calum,

"Let's watch Anchorman!" Ashton yelled out,

"No!" Calum yelled right back.

Grace and I looked at each other. I grabbed the remote and turned on Clueless, the movie Grace and I said we wanted to watch earlier,

"Now shut up!" Grace yelled as she cuddled with Calum. The boys let out exaggerated groans but got quiet.

I pushed Ashton to lean back then crawled under his arm, pulling the blanket up and getting cozy. He laughed and let his arm fall around me, holding me in his side.

But none of us even made it halfway through the movie because we all fell asleep.
