**I DO NOT OWN...
"Happy birthday!" I heard yelled by many people no sooner than I opened my eyes. I couldn't help but smile at the people I love who all stood next to the bed with presents in their hands,
"Thanks guys" I smiled then looked at Ashton, "I didn't even feel you get up"
"Cause I'm sneaky" he smiled,
"Open your presents Payton! That's why we brought them up here" Jude whined. I laughed and they all sat the gifts on the bed. Evan and Jude climbed up and sat next to me while my mom, grandparents, and Ashton stood.
I started opening present, smiling at everything I was getting. My brothers got me some gift cards. My grandparents go me some records and some clothes. My mom got me clothes and gift cards. The last thing I needed to open was from Ashton.
The first thing I pulled out was a picture frame that had one of my favorite pictures of us in it. Then in the white space around the photo was things he loves about me,
"That's so cute" I gushed,
"Keep opening" he blushed. I smiled and continued on, pulling the next thing out which was a mixtape he made of all the songs we listen to on repeat. The last few things we bags of my favorite candy,
"I love it Ash" I hugged him, "Thank you"
"You're welcome. I was trying to be creative like you always are with presents" he shrugged,
"Well, I love it" I smiled,
"That was pretty good Ashton" my grandpa complimented, "How about you two get dressed and we will go out for breakfast"
I smiled and everyone but Ashton left the room where he sat down next to me,
"Did you really like it?" he asked, a little unsure,
"I loved it Ash. It was so cute and pretty creative" I smiled and pressed my lips to his. He hummed into the kiss and quickly deepened it by slipping his tongue past my lips. Unfortunately, I pulled away,
"We need to get changed" I sighed, "But to be continued," I told him, pressing a final kiss to his lips then getting up and grabbing clothes.

We got to the best pancake place on the island and Ashton and I climbed out of the backseat and followed my grandparents inside. My grandparents always take the birthday kid to breakfast. It's like their one-on-one time with us and I just happen to have a plus one today.
"You are going to love this place," I told Ashton as we slid into the booth across from my grandparents, "It's amazing"
"I believe you" Ashton chuckled as the waiter came over,
"How are you all today? Can I get you all started with some drinks?" He smiled,
"Four coffees and four waters" my grandpa spoke, knowing that both Ashton and I have a coffee addiction like my grandparents. Our waiter nodded and headed off and Ashton and I looked at the menu,
"I'll just get whatever you get" he shrugged, making me laugh.
Our waiter came back and we quickly ordered,
"When are you two going to find an apartment?" My grandma asked,
"Well, we saw one but it wasn't that great. I think we're gonna look in the complex our friends are going to be at" Ashton shrugged,
"Now that I'm eighteen, I can actually help. Some places wouldn't even let me be there when Ashton looked"
"That's so weird" my grandpa shook his head, "If you all need anything or help, call us and we will fly up"
"Thanks" Ashton smiled just as huge stacks of pancakes were sat in front of us. Ashton went to grab the regular syrup, but I stopped him,
"Use this one" I told him, "It's good. It's the only syrup I use and you know I hate syrup"
Ashton laughed and took it from me and pouted it over his pancakes then took a bite, his eyes widening and looking at me,
"What is that? That's amazing"
Both my grandparents laughed,
"It's a Hawaiian syrup. It's a coconut syrup" my grandma told him,
"This is so good"

After a long day and after everyone went to bed, Ashton and I sat on the back porch on the porch swing. I was leaned against his arm and we had a blanket over our laps,
"Did you have a good birthday?" he asked, kissing my head,
"I did. I'm glad you came with me" I smiled up at him,
"Me too. I've loved it here. This is like my first real vacation too. We never really go on them"
"What'd you think about snorkeling?" I asked. We had done that earlier and Ashton was scared to death at first,
"That was actually pretty fun" he laughed, "Oh you should totally post that picture I took of you while we were snorkeling"
I laughed and pulled my phone out, saving the photo from the text messages then going to Instagram.
"I expect you to be the first like and comment" I joked,
"You know it babe"

Right after I sat my phone down and let out a yawn,
"Sleepy?" Ashton hummed. I nodded,
"Let's go to bed them" he chuckled. We both got up and headed inside and climbed into bed, cuddling right back up with one another,
"I can't wait until we live in our apartment and I get to sleep and wake up next to you everyday" Ashton whispered, kissing below my ear,
"That'll be one of the best days" I grinned, rolling slightly so I could face him, "I love you"
"I love you too Pay" he pressed a soft kiss to my lips, "Happy birthday baby"
