{ Payton }

"Where are you going?" Mom asked as I grabbed my car keys to rush out the door,

"Ashton's" I grinned. Mom laughed,

"Okay. Have fun and be smart. Also, curfew is 11:00"

"Got it Mom. Bye!"

And I was out the door, climbing into my car and driving the fifteen minutes to Ashton's.

As I pulled into his driveway, he walked out and to my car, opening my door for me,

"Hi," he giggled and pecked my lips,

"Hi" I smiled and got out, closing the door and locking my car behind me,

"So my mom and my siblings are here. That okay?" Ashton asked as he took my hand and led me inside,

"Perfectly fine" I smiled although I was definitely nervous. This will be my first time meeting his family.

We walked into the house and I immediately saw a little boy sitting on the couch,

"Hey Harry" Ashton spoke, making the boy look over, "This is Payton. She's your friends, Evan and Jude's, sister"

"Hi" Harry waved, "Where's Evan and Jude?"

"At home" I laughed, "Probably playing video games"

"Where's Mom?" Ashton laughed and asked Harry,

"Kitchen with Lauren"

Ashton nodded then pulled me with him.

We walked into the kitchen and I saw a woman making sandwiches, and a girl at the counter reading a book. Ashton flashed me a smile and squeezed my hand,

"Mom!" he spoke making the woman jump and her hand come to her chest,

"Jesus Ashton" she gasped, then her eyes widened, "Oh hello. You must be Payton. It's so nice to meet you"

She wiped her hands on a towel then walked over,

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Irwin"

"Anne. Call me Anne" she smiled, "Have a seat"

I took a seat on the stool she pointed to as Ashton stood behind me,

"I'm Lauren" the girl finally spoke up,

"I'm Payton"

"I know. Ashton talks about you all the time"

Ashton jumped and shooed Lauren out then took her seat. Anne and I both laughed,

"Ashton said you just moved here at the start of school" Anne spoke, passing Ashton and I both half a sandwich,

"I did. I moved here from Hawaii"

"I wouldn't want to leave there" she laughed,

"It was tough but we had to. My dad's in the military and he got reassigned" I shrugged,

"Oh, that's right. Ashton did tell me that. He said he just got deployed"

"Yeah. It's tough but this is his last deployment before he retires"

After an hour of answering Anne's questions, Ashton took me to his room, shutting the door behind us.

I took in the space as I walked in. One wall was brick while the others were drywall and painted a dark blue color. He had a queen size bed with gray sheets and a gray comforter. His bed was up against the wall under the window, and he had a desk on the opposite wall. His dresser was facing his bed and he had a tv sitting on top. Finally off in the corner was a drum kit.

"Come cuddle" Ashton whined, flipping back on his bed. I laughed and slipped my shoes off, walking over and laying down with him,

"Sorry my mom asked so many questions" Ashton spoke with a little laugh,

"She's totally fine. I'm surprised my parents didn't hound you" I joked,

"Me too honestly"

I tilted my head to look up at Ashton, but he was already looking down at me. He smiled then pressed his lips to mine. I kissed him back slowly. The kiss wasn't long but it wasn't short.

We pulled away and Ashton chuckled, sitting up,

"I have a trampoline. Wanna go?" he pulled me up,

"Heck yeah!" I grinned as we raced down the steps and into his backyard.

We climbed up on the trampoline and jumped around. Ashton went to show off by doing a flip but completely failed. I couldn't hold back my laughter,

"You go" Ashton playfully rolled his eyes. I smirked then bounced a few times then did a backflip, landing it perfectly. I turned and looked at Ashton,

"Okay show off" he joked and lightly pushed me. I pushed him back and as he fell onto his back, he pulled me with him. We bounced as we hit the trampoline. We were both laughing as I laid on top of him.

His lips met mine again, but this time it deepened. His tongue slipped in and his hands gripped my waist. I mean, we are teenagers after all.

Just as Ashton rolled me over and was hovering over me, Harry busted out the back door. Ashton and I flew away from each other,

"Mom says it's time for dinner so stop kissing each other and come inside"

Ashton groaned and we both got up, walking inside.

Everyone had gone to bed so Ashton and I were watching a movie in the living room. We were cuddled on the couch with a blanket over us as Spider-Man played on the tv. Ashton was laying behind me, holding around my waist as his chin rested on the top of my head.

Just as I was starting to fall asleep, Ashton nudged me lightly,

"It's 10:30. Don't you have to be home at 11?" he spoke. My eyes widened and I sat up,

"Yeah" I sighed and slipped my shoes on,

"I'll run up to my room and grab your keys" Ashton smiled, then jogged up the steps. I quickly pulled out my phone and texted my mom, letting her know I was about to leave and that I accidentally fell asleep.

Ashton came back down and grabbed my hand, walking me out to my car. He unlocked the door and opened it for me, but I didn't get in right away.

"Thanks for having me over" I smiled up as Ashton stepped forward,

"Of course" he pulled me into a hug, "You can come over whenever you want"

I smiled and pulled back, climbing into the driver's seat,

"Drive safe and text me when you get home"

"I will" I smiled, "Goodnight Ashton"

I leaned forward and kissed him. He pulled back and shut my door, watching as I pulled out of the driveway, waving as I drove off.
