"WHO'S BIRTHDAY IS IT?" Sirius's voice rang through the whole Great Hall.

"Happy birthday Mr. Black," Dumbledore said from his seat.

Jen, that was sitting next to Gideon with Marlene on her side rolled her eyes. Sirius Black was nothing a Black should be. He was loud, sarcastic, mischievous and above all, he was the biggest Drama Queen she had ever met. Nothing compared. Not even Marlene McKinnon.

"This is going to be a horrendous day." Marlene sighed.

"Don't get me started on it." Jennifer agreed.

"I think he's hot. Like really really hot." Gideon commented as he watched Sirius walk towards them.

He was the first Marauder to be awake. That happened. Once a year the 3rd November. Sirius loved his birthday and his friends loved to make it all about him as they knew that he would be a complete pain in the ass if they didn't.

Jen and Marlene tilted their heads and watched him as he was walking towards them. He had put on his Hogwarts robes of course but he was also wearing his iconic leather jacket. It was nothing new. She had to admit that he wasn't bad looking but her heart didn't make loops, her stomach didn't tickle from the inside when she saw him.

"I suppose you've got great taste in men, Gideon. A shame that he's into women." Marlene said with a wink.

Gideon made a face at her whilst Jen chuckled. Her friend was starting to get over Tristan and she couldn't be more proud. Marlene had to see that she was more than a girl whose boyfriend broke up with her. She was Marlene McKinnon. The badass and independent friend.

"Did you really just say that Black is hot?" Lily asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah. My brother did. Horrendous taste." Fabian said shaking his head.

"He thinks Frank's hot." Alice said with a quirked eyebrow.

"Yeah. About that..." Fabian carried on.

Alice didn't even let him finish, she slapped him on the arm as hard as she could and glared at him.

"You're just jealous. You fucker." She said.

The whole group laughed at that. She was in love. There was no doubt. Alice never cursed. Alice Fortescue was in love with Frank Longbottom.

"Why don't you just tell him you love him?" Jennifer asked.

At that sentence, Alice looked at her friend. How ironic.

"Just tell him, huh? Like telling someone you like them?" Alice cocked an eyebrow up.

Jen was about to answer when she closed her mouth. She knew what she was saying and who she was alluding to. She hadn't let the idea of Remus and her go since the train ride. And even though she had told her that it was silly, her whole body was saying another thing.

"Tell who what?" Sirius asked.

Everyone watched him as he sat down next to Gideon. Fabian cast a glance at Gideon, that decided to ignore him. Sirius Black was straight. Nothing would be happening.

"Nothing. Where are your mates anyway?" Jennifer answered desperately to talk about something else.

Sirius ignored her and smiled. "Moony, Prongs, and Wormtail should be on their way-" He looked at his watch. "Right now."

And just as Sirius stopped talking, the Great Halls' dors burst open yet again and what walked in was one of the best things of their lives. Sirius had forced them to dress like the signer from Queen. Freddie Mercury. All of them looked awesome.
