The whole group had an amazing Christmas. Of course, it was more Jame's holiday than everyone else's. He made everyone sing stupid songs, wear ugly sweaters and eat a lot... He was the mom of the group and a child at the same time. You knew it when he would open his gifts. He was excited for every single one of them. But the one that made him weep was Jennifer's. She had found a few of the old pictures they had with their parents as well as some from when they were little and had made an album out of it. Alice had helped of course. Jen was shit at things like that. The hardest part of course was to have to go back to their old house where they had so many memories with their dead parents. She almost didn't go but when Sirius and Gideon told her they would go with her, she managed to put the grief aside and went there.

But putting aside the sad stuff, while Christmas was James's holiday, New Year's Eve was Jen's. She loved it. Even whilst being older and out of Hogwarts, give her a joint, alcohol and gossip and she would throw a party that would be talked about for centuries. And that's exactly what she would be doing that year. And as her apartment was too little (even though only the Sassy Six would be partying), she had asked James- well, Lily actually if they could party at their house. Lily had said yes immediately but it was James that was more reluctant than ever.

"My sister and my girlfriend along with their friends are stealing my house for a night. Of course, I'm worried!" James complained for the tenth time that evening.

All of the Sassy Six rolled their eyes as if on cue and sighed. There wouldn't be happening anything bad.

"Chill the fuck out." Jen decided to say as she crossed her arms.

Marlene stepped beside Jen and put an arm around her friend's shoulder. She then looked at James with her sassiest look and shrugged nonchalantly.

"We're not going to destroy the Potter household." She assured him.

The Marauders all scoffed and Sirius even laughed at that while James cocked his head to the side and crossed his arms just like his sister had done. Anything like that coming from Marlene was everything but reassuring.

"It sounds wrong coming from your mouth." James decided to sass.

Fabian let out a laugh which made Marlene turn around so fast, it wasn't human. As she did, Fabian immediately shut up and decided to examine a cute lamp instead. So his brother decided to step up for his stupid ass.

"Anything coming from that mouth sounds wrong."

Dorcas looked at Gideon and shook her head with a certain smile. A smile no one ever wanted to witness again.

"I would disagree." She then said before looking at Marlene again.

Marlene immediately took her arm away from around Jennifer and made a move forward, towards her girlfriend.

"Oh how I love you." She said as she was about to reach Dorcas.

But Fabian apparated right in between them and pushed them apart. He was not going to watch them kiss hungrily and disgustingly for the millionth time.

"Enough chitchat and love." He said, grabbing Marlene's hand and making her sit down on the couch with him.

Alice, that had been quiet since the beginning, not liking when people argued, spoke.

"Yes. I want to get drunk."

Every single one of the Sassy Six looked at her and nodded with a big smile. Drunk Alice was wild. Almost as wild as Jen, which was saying something. They loved drunk Alice and they hadn't had the opportunity of seeing her much since Hogwarts.
