Chapter 49 - A shot

"Happy birthday, love."

Sirius slowly opened his eyes. Sun hit him and he immediately closed them again, only to open them again and seeing a very handsome ginger leaning, on one hand, the arm propped on the mattress.

Gideon stood there looking down at him with a handsome big smile that made Sirius smile as well.

"You were right, using the room of requirement as a bedroom the day before my birthday was an excellent idea." He said, his voice raspy.

"I know." Gideon said.

"It's my birthday." Sirius sung.

Gideon's smile widened a lot before he turned around and took a green wrapped package and handed it to Sirius.

The grey-eyed boy smiled widely and opened the package without waiting a second. And when his expression dropped Gideon's smile loosened a bit.

"You- Gideon, you- OH MY GOD." He started shouting. "OH MY GOD."

Gideon smiled widely again.

"Do you like it?" He asked Sirius.

"Like it? I LOVE IT. YOU BOUGHT ME TWO TICKETS FOR QUEEN." He shouted excitedly.

Gideon chuckled a bit.

"Yes. One for you and one for me. I thought we could go together."

Sirius put the two tickets back in the box before practically jumping on Gideon and straddling him.

"If I hadn't already shagged you, I would've done it now." He said smiling widely.

Gideon chuckled again and put Sirius's hair back, so that he could look at his smiling face.

"What makes you say you can't do it again? It's your birthday after all."

Sirius grinned and crashed his lips to Gideon's.

"Hey." Fabian said, sitting down next to Jen on breakfast. "Do you know where Gideon is? I haven't seen him all night."

Jen smirked and looked at Fabian.

"Probably shagging."

And she was sure he was. It was Sirius Black's birthday after all. None of them would be seen for a few hours at least.

"Yea. Seems about right." He commented.

And then, the weirdest thing ever happened. Lily Evans and James Potter entered the Great Hall together, laughing. Jen stopped eating her breakfast and looked at them, mouth wide open. Marlene let her fork fall on her plate, Alice and Frank stopped in the middle of a kiss and Fabian kept pouring pumpkin juice in his already full glass until Lily sat down next to Alice, in front of Jen.

"Good morning." She said before taking some pancakes.

But everyone was way too shocked to answer. Lily Evans aka the girl that least stands James Potter and throws rude remarks at him every now and then, was spotted laughing with him and not at him. When Lily noticed the silence, she looked at all of them.

"What?" She asked with a confused expression.

"What." Marlene said laughing.

She looked at Jen, that was sitting next to her, and continued laughing until she looked back at Lily and almost screamed-
