A few days had passed since Remus and Jen had broken up. She had been right when she had said that the whole castle had probably heard her and seen them fight until they broke up because the next morning the whole school knew. The whole school including her friends and her brother.

The first thing they did was ask what happened but she could not tell them. It was his secret and as they weren't together anymore he was none of her business. That's what she had told him.

Gideon and Marlene immediately offered to broke his jaw or any part of his body. She just had to say one word but the only word she had said was, no.

Lily and Alice had told Jen that if she had to cry, scream or do anything else, they would be there for her and that their shoulders could be used to cry on.

Her brother had asked what had happened and as he knew about it, she explained it to him, with Sirius and Peter at his side so she didn't have to talk about it too much. She wasn't going to lie, her brother had gotten up and was about to scream at Remus but she had told him to sit back down. They had been friends since they were 11. He should stay friends regardless. So that's what he did. After shouting at his friend when Jen was gone he looked at him and realized it wasn't easy for him either.

Sirius on the other side was being Sirius. Trying to get it out of her mind whilst being there for Remus as well.

And Fabian... She hadn't seen him since their bight fight a month ago. It hurt her, he hadn't been there for her right away but he did say it was a bad idea to date Remus and it turned out he wasn't that wrong.

But it was her last night at Hogwarts in her sixth year and she wasn't going to let him ruin that. Never.

That's why she was currently sitting on the grass on the grounds, not their usual spot, with her four friends. She was smoking. She didn't care if any professor saw. What were they going to do? Put her in detention for a few hours until she had to go home again? No.

Lily was currently trying to braid Alice's shirt hair like the latter always did, to no avail. She was shit at it. Better have a boy with short hair.

And Gideon and Marlene were leaning against a three with Jennifer's head on Gideon's lap.

"Where is Frank?" Jen suddenly asked.

Alice smiled at her friend as she pronounced her boyfriend's name.

"He's hanging out with his friends. He'll spend a lot of time with us if that's okay." Alice said a bit reluctantly.

She didn't know how to talk about it since Jen had broken up.

But Jen couldn't be happier for her friend.

"Of course. He's an excellent friend and kind of fun, so." She said smiling, taking a drag again.

"And hot. Don't forget that." Gideon added.

Alice chuckled whilst rolling her eyes.

"Alright, so who's single this summer?" Marlene asked exhaling the smoke.

Everyone but Alice raised their hand. All of them but Alice were single.

"The four of us are single. What a delight." Gideon said smiling.
