"MERCUTIO
A challenge, on my life.

BENVOLIO
Romeo will answer it.

MERCUTIO
Any man that can write may answer a letter.

BENVOLIO
Nay, he will answer the letter's master, how he
dares, being dared." Remus read.

He was about to continue reading when Jen stopped him like she loved to do whenever something wasn't right to her.

"So, you're telling me that they think he can't take part in that stupid thing just because he fell in love?"

Remus nodded and looked down at her. Jennifer was in the same position she had been the first time he had read to her. She was in no mood to be sitting next to him and listen, she would prefer doing it while lying comfortably.

"Well, that's just stupid. It's not because he is blinded by that Juliet, that he can't be badass. Pff, what a waste of muscle." She said.

Remus chuckled lightly and looked down at her. She had put her messy hair in a ponytail. As always, she had put on some mascara and some concealer to hide her bags. She was dressed very simple but she looked beautiful to him.

"Well, that's how it was." He clarified.

"Yeah, well it's still pretty dumb." She said changing position.

She lifted her head of Remus's lap and crossed her legs on her chair. She was in a sitting position for once. Even if her chair was still dangerously close to him. She decided to ignore it and smiled widely.

Remus, that had grown to know her with time, knew that smile. It was the one she would make before asking for something. So, he put his bookmark on the page he had been reading to her and closed it before looking at her with an eyebrow quirked up.

"What is it you want, Jen?" He asked her whilst putting his arm on the back of the chair.

Hot move. Hot move! Stop. Just go on with what you want, dumbass.

"Well, you've been showing me your lifestyle." She started.

Remus instantly groaned. He knew what was coming. He had shown her his world for weeks if not one month and a few weeks now. He knew that he would eventually have to get to know her world as well. But he knew that when he would enter it, they wouldn't be alone anymore. It wouldn't be just her and him sitting -lying in the library whilst reading Romeo and Juliet. There would be Marlene, Alice, Lily and most of all, the Prewett twins. He didn't know why but whenever he saw her with them, being all touchy and friendly, his heart would drop and his stomach would squeeze. He hated it and he didn't quite know why.

"Hey! Let me finish." She said whilst slapping his arm.

Remus rubbed it. She didn't look like it but she certainly had a lot of strength. He then rolled his eyes and looked back at her.

"I already know what you're going to say."

"I don't care. Shut up and listen, Lupin."

"Back on a family-name basis are we?" He said with an eyebrow quirked up.

This time, it was Jennifer who rolled her eyes. Ever since she had been comfortable around him and he as well, he would be a lot more sarcastic and daring. But she had to say that she loved it.

"Careful, I know a spell that would blast anything I may think of." She warned him.

She quickly looked down and up. She didn't really know any but she loved to scare whoever she could. It was something she had always done, mostly with her brother. He knew she was crazy sometimes, so why not.
