It was a good morning. Gideon had been able to rub to any girl's face that Sirius Black was his official boyfriend and that he had settled for him and not for those bitches and he had also rubbed to all those guys faces that yes, he was very much gay and that he had chosen him to be with.

Sirius loved it. He loved the way his boyfriend would proudly show and not tell, whole Hogwarts how much he was his and no one else's.

He was quietly sitting with his boyfriend at the table that morning when Jen and Remus came in the Great Hall, an arm around Jen's shoulders. Both of them looked very very happy and were smiling like fools.

They then made their way towards Gideon and Sirius and sat down. And as Jen sat down in front of Gideon and took a pancake without any shame, she told her best friend something.

"Gid?"

Gideon took some bacon and put it on his plate.

"Yeah?"

"If you do it, I do it?" She started, making him look up from his plate. "Well, I did it."

His face immediately fell as he got startled. He had not expected it to happen so soon. It was not meant to happen so soon. He had been joking. And now he was stuck.

"You bitch."

Sirius looked completely confused. He had been enjoying his breakfast and now some sort of fight?- was happening.

"What the hell just happened?" He asked looking at his sister and boyfriend, completely lost.

He then looked at Remus, that was silently carrying on, preparing his breakfast like always. He was used to it by now.

"I don't know. I never know." He simply said. "You'll always be confused but you'll get used to it. Welcome to the club."

Sirius furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head. If Remus was used to it, it seemed like he would have no problem getting used to it as well. So he did just like Remus and carried on with his breakfast.

--------------------------------------------------

Jen had been trying to avoid Gideon the whole day. After she had told him she was moving in with Remus, forcing Gideon to do the same with Sirius, he was in a bad mood. He had been with Sirius for one year and it had only been a month or so since he had done his coming out. He did not know how to do it. How to make Sirius want to live with him.

And Jen, being the good friend she was, tried to be there for her friend, but turns out he preferred chasing her around. That is how she somehow found herself standing in the astronomy tower after a year or so. But when she got there and closed the door violently, she hadn't noticed that someone was already there.

The person in question shuffled quickly, pulling his sleeve down and turning around stiffly. Hazel eyes met grey and Jen immediately knew who she was facing. It wasn't hard to know who it was. Black short and yet perfect hair, grey deep eyes, green and black attire. And this sorrowed expression she had seen a thousand times already.

"What are you doing here, Potter?" Regulus Black asked her.

Jen heard the venom in his voice and yet, she decided to ignore it. It was clear by the way he had stiffened, clear by the way his eyes were glassy, by the way, he forced himself to be harsh that something was wrong. She could've turned around and closed the door and let him deal with it on his own but she couldn't. He was Sirius's brother and even if he denied it- if both denied it, they wouldn't have walked away if they had seen each other this way.

So instead of turning around, she took a few steps forward and sat down next to him, on the railing.

"Escaping my problems." She answered truthfully. "What about you, Black?"
