Chapter 57 - Flirting Bitches

The first Monday of classes after the break was one of the best ones. Jen was back with Remus. She had no intention of getting back together but her mind decided for her the moment she left the party and she was happy about it.

Marlene, Alice, and Lily could see it very clearly.

"In a good mood today, aren't we?" Lily noticed with a smile matching Jen's.

Jen shrugged and kept smiling all whilst walking towards the Great Hall.

"I knew they would be a power couple the second they collided in the train. I called it!" Alice said excitingly.

Jen chuckled a bit. She remembered telling Alice to stop and that she would never ever be with Remus Lupin. And there they were.

"Oh shut up already." Marlene rolled her eyes.

"You're only grim because you can't find your party fling." Alice complained.

Lily and Jen chuckled at Alice's comment.

"How can I not find her?" Marlene complained for the millionth time. "She's a bloody Gryffindor."

"Just stay in the common room permanently until you see her." Jen suggested.

The girls all laughed and Marlene nodded with a big smile.

"You know you're a fucking genius. I swear, having you as a friend is-"

But Marlene was cut off by a hand sign. Marlene's eyebrows shot upwards. Jen never interrupted anyone. So why was she-

Oh. Oh!

A blond Ravenclaw had just made her way from her table towards theirs and had sat down on Jen's spot next to Remus. Now that wouldn't have been too bad, hadn't the girl turned towards Remus, making him lovey-dovey eyes, and tilted her head in a flirty manner.

Jen's nostrils flared as she and the girls made their way towards them, stopping right behind Remus.

Remus was silently reading a book and hadn't even noticed a single thing. But James, Sirius, Gideon, and Fabian sure had noticed. They had all looked up at Jen and raised their eyebrows in anticipation, more Gideon and Sirius than James and Fabian though.

"Hey, Remus." The girl said, batting her eyelashes at him.

At the sound, Remus looked up before looking back down at his book.

"Hey." He said not even bothering to know or say her name.

The girl didn't even look disturbed at the action. She just kept looking at him and flashed him a slutty smile, Jen wanted to punch her for.

"So, I was thinking we could go spend some time near the Black Lake tonight. Are you in?" She asked him.

"Sorry." He said not even looking sorry. "I've already got plans with my girlfriend."

That was a lie. They never planned a single thing. They always improvised their nights, which made them better.

But the stupid Ravenclaw girl decided to ignore the last word he had used and insisted.

"Maybe next time." She winked.

"I don't think-" He said sighing.

But Jen's blood was boiling at that point. Fucking blonde girls with their fucking slutty smiles and their fucking tiny brain-

"No." Jen intervened. "Now move."

The girl, and Remus both turned around, only to see an ice cold smile form on Jen's lips, her arms crossed. Jen's smile was so cold, it send shivers down everyone's backs.
