I just finished the infernal devices and I am crushed. It killed me. Anyway, good read.

"Who wants to become an Auror?" Professor McGonagall asked.

Everyone was currently sitting in class during their transfiguration class but this class was very different as there was only Gryffindors present. McGonagall was asking everyone around what they wanted to do later. Later meaning at the end of the year.

Sirius, James, Gideon, Fabian, Marlene, and Jen raised their hands.

"Mr. Prewett, Miss Potter. I thought you wanted to become artists." She said looking at them through her glasses.

Jen and Fabian looked at each other before shrugging.

"We want to fight in the war. By becoming Aurors we'll do just that." Fabian started.

"Besides, we still can do it if we change our mind. Even if I am sure we won't." Jen finished.

They had talked about it a lot during summer. Becoming an Auror now was difficult but being an artist was even harder. Besides, they really wanted to help the muggles and muggle-borns.

"That's very brave." Minerva said.

Jen and Fabian smiled at each other before smiling at their Head of House. They were more than happy that McGonagall told them something like that. When you were high in her esteem, you couldn't ask for better.

"Alright, so two Aurors will be coming in a few weeks to talk about what their life looks like. They'll talk about their experience and what it takes to be a good Auror. You'll also be able to ask them questions." She looked at James and Sirius. "Rational questions."

Both of them nodded with a big innocent smile as the rest of the students chuckled and McGonagall shook her head.

"Alright. Class is over. Do not forget the essay that is due for tomorrow."

Jen started packing her things when someone showed up from nowhere and said. "Want to spend the rest of the day with your sibling?"

"I have more than a brother, Sirius." She said closing her purse only to look up and see two grinning idiots.

James and Sirius were both looking at her with wide smiles as if what she said was everything they had wanted to hear.

"Stop smiling like that."

James rolled his eyes but Sirius only came forward and took her right arm.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"I want to see your tattoo." He said pushing her sleeve up.

James's smile immediately vanished and a frown took its place. He came forward and looked at her and at her arm.

Meanwhile, Jen was studying her brother to see if he was going to overreact like he had done before they got this close but when he saw her expression he dropped his and walked towards her.

"Can we see?" He asked.

Jen smiled and pushed her sleeve up. Sirius seemed to understand the tattoo immediately which meant he had been with Gideon and James frowned a bit.

"Even crazier?"

She nodded and rolled her sleeve down again.

"Gideon has crazy."

James nodded as well and after a minute he said something that nearly made Jen take a few steps back.

"We should get one." He said. "All three of us."
