Little Introduction
James Potter was a hopeless romantic. He loved and loved without condition, without judgement. When James Potter loved you could be sure that you would see it. His affection would never change. No matter what you did. You could've broken his heart, he would still die for you. But he was also a troublemaker. The kind of troublemaker that liked to prank teachers and students for fun. The kind of troublemaker that would've apologized after realizing that he went too far, but not because what he did was horrible but because he hurt your feelings in the process and that was never his intention. James Potter was a softy.
Jennifer Potter, on the other hand, was a big realist. She loved to party, to drink, to dance... She loved to have fun. She didn't pick someone and fell in love. She didn't need that. While her twin brother, James Potter was caring and sweet, she was distant with boys and bitter whenever she had to. And you could be sure that once she had given you her heart and you had broken it, she would get back at you. She believed in an eye for an eye. She was also quite the troublemaker. She didn't prank students or teachers, no. She would get into fights, smoke weed or cigarettes... Jennifer Potter was a badass.
Both of the students were very different and yet still pretty identical. Even their friend groups were almost the same. Even if they would never admit it nor think about it. They had more in common than they had thought...
6th year
Jennifer Potter was not a morning person. If anything, she was the last to get up and yet, took the time she needed. But not on the 1st September 1976. It was second last year at Hogwarts and even though most of people would be sad and nostalgic even though the end was ages away, Jennifer was excited. She loved being at Hogwarts. If anything, it was one of her favorite places in the world. She loved those days in the Gryffindor common room with her friends, laughing and signing. She loved the food the house-elfs cooked. She loved the nights she would sneak out and secretly watch the stars. She..
"Jen! Are you coming or what? I don't want to miss the bloody train." James shouted from downstairs.
She snapped out of her daydream and closed her trunk hastily. She then walked to the mirror and looked at herself one last time. She was wearing a tight grey mini skirt with a withe turtleneck pullover as well as a red double breasted coat. Her curly brown- nearly black long hair was perfectly combed unlike her brother and her eyeliner and mascara were perfectly made.
When she was satisfied with how she looked, Jenna took the book on her nightstand and her trunk as well as her wand and tried descending the stairs. She was clearly struggling and it looked as James was enjoying this. He was watching her having trouble getting to him with a book in her wand on one hand and her heavy trunk in the other one.
"Don't help me you bloody git." Jennifer mumbled just loud enough for him to hear.
James was about to make a dumb comment as always when she felt her trunk get less heavy. She turned around and saw Sirius Black holding the other end with a charming smile on his face. Just like always. She rolled her eyes at his smile and turned around to glare at James that looked very disappointed.
"Thank you Black." She said.
"I can't simply let a damsel in distress. Not as a knight in shining armor." He answered back as they were near the door.
Jennifer rolled her eyes again and took the cup of coffee James had in his hand. He had made it for her because he knew way to well how irritable she was without coffee.
"First, I am not and never was a damsel in distress and second, if I need a knight in shining armor it's myself." She said her cup reaching her hand.
