Chapter 14 - Hogsmeade

"Fucking hell!" Jennifer said throwing a bunch of clothes on her bed.

Everything was fine. It was a sunny day. The birds were singing. It was not as warm as it had been a few months earlier as they were in November now. Today was a good day. Today was the day Jennifer Potter was going on her unofficial date with Remus Lupin.

She had been stressing about what she was going to wear for over an hour with all the girls in her dorm. She wanted the boys to come too, more Gideon than Fabian as Gideon was very good at styling people. He was great advice.

"I'm going to die. Literally." She said looking at her clothes.

Marlene, that was close to her groaned as well. She had been in that situation before but she hated being the one to watch. It was frustrating.

"Just pick something. Merlin!"

Jennifer glared at her best friend. She was not helping at all. She was stressing her more and more. Even though she tried not to show it because she hadn't admitted to anyone that she had a crush on him. Yes, she had admitted it to herself. She had come to the conclusion that the way she acted around him was a sign.

"Die, Marlene. Die." Jennifer glared at her friend.

"If I die, you die with me. Bitch!"

Alice and Lily started laughing whilst Marlene and Jennifer smiled.

"I'll help you out." Lily said whilst standing up and taking a look at all the clothes Jennifer had with her.

Lily took out dark red lingerie with her fingers and raised an eyebrow at her friend. She was genuinely curious about what it was doing there.

"Are you getting it, Jen?" Alice asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"Oh. She's definitely getting it." Marlene commented.

"But what about Remus? I like Remus." Lily pouted slightly.

Jennifer groaned and took the lingerie out of Lily's hands before putting it in her trunk. She didn't bring it for Remus. She loved to wear it and she loved to see herself in it. It had nothing to do with boys. She was just confident about herself.

"You three shut up. I don't wear this for anyone but myself. Now shut the fuck up and help me with what I should wear." Jen said to her three friends, that burst out laughing.

She rolled her eyes as she watched her three friends pick out her clothes. But it turned out that they had great taste because when Jennifer looked at herself in the mirror, there was only one word coming to her. She looked beautiful.

"I love it. You're great at this."

She was wearing a red skirt with a beige turtle neck pullover. Alice had made some sort of styled bun for her and Lily had picked some dark brown boots that went to her knees.

"We know, love." Marlene said with a big smile.

Jen shoved her off and took a brown coat in Lily's trunk. She loved stealing things from her. But Lily didn't mind. She never did.

"Alright. Time to go and see Remus." Lily said with a big smile.

"Go to your date." Alice said cheekily.

"It's not a date." Jennifer lied.

As Jennifer walked down, the first thing she could see was Remus reading a book on the couch whilst the Marauders were arguing about what chocolate was better. White, Black, or Milk. At that moment, she couldn't help but let a big smile grow on her face.
