Chapter 3: I tried

Go on a date with him?! Is he out of his mind? I mean we only talk for like three hours that night and now he's asking me to go on a date with him? He barely even know me! And where does he got the audacity to ask a girl who's older than him on a date! I bet he's done this before. I wonder how many girl he had asked and left haunted?

What the hell is he planning right now? It's just a kiss! And a wholesome conversation! And a beautiful night. But why me?!

"Ughh.." I didn't realized I made that sound until our Teacher calls me out. I was thinking way too much, I forgot I'm in the middle of our laboratory class. Obviously, the whole class laughed at me again.

"Something's going on with you and it's obviously messing you up." Jaehyuk said while we're eating at the cafeteria. Jungsoo is also with us.

"It's nothing."

But both of them didn't buy that. Especially Jungsoo, who's been asking an update about Jeongwoo and I. I haven't told her yet what happened last night. She'll just laugh and tease me about it until she pisses me off.

"Jeongwoo?!"

"What?! Where?!" I almost jumped out of my seat. I looked at my surrounding like a criminal hiding from the police. But when Jungsoo laughs, I know she's just fooling around. "What the hell, Jungsoo!" I snarled at her.

Jaehyuk looks so confused right now. And he's about to ask questions I will surely avoid. "Who's Jeongwoo?" There he goes.

"Umm.." Jungsoo's not done teasing me. "You should ask Asami instead. Asami, who's Jeongwoo again?"

I raised my left eyebrow on her. "Ahh, you're keeping secrets from me now. I see." Jaehyuk nodded.

"He's just a guy I met at a party." there, I said it.

"So you're attending parties now? And even talking to guys again? Wow. How come you didn't tell it to me yesterday, huh?" Jaehyuk pouted.

"First of all, that was Jennie-unnie's party and Jungsoo just asked me to go with her. Secondly, he talked to me first. And I just thought that it's rude not to accept his kind approach. And besides, someone left me alone there so I had no one to talk to.." I looked at Jungsoo and she just gave me a shrug before she sips from her juice. Then I looked back to Jaehyuk who's patiently waiting for me. "And Jaehyuk, I didn't tell you yesterday because you're so annoying." I said.

Jaehyuk made a grimace and mouthed 'what the fuck?' to me. I just shook my head while grinning.

"Isn't it exciting? He's finally talking to a guy now!" Jungsoo said, all smiling. "Again." She clarifies.

"Hey! I'm talking to guys, what are you saying?" I protested.

"Yeah, you mean this guy only?" She pointed at Jaehyuk. I know what she's trying to say here.

"I'm talking to Jungwhanie too." I defended.

Jungsoo rolls her gorgeous eyes. "Look, I'm just happy that you're finally back at the game again. After what happened to you, I got worried that you'll forever be scared of them. Guys. Which in fact you don't really have to." He looked at Jaehyuk with a sleepy mocking eyes.

"What? I'm a changed man now! I'm not like her stupid ex anymore." Jaehyuk proudly said.

"Don't be so proud about it, Jaehyuk. Once a cheater always a cheater." Jungsoo said.

"I didn't cheat on you!" Jaehyuk said.

"Eww. Why do you have to bring back our past? Gross." Jungsoo makes a disgusted face.
