Chapter 12: Begin Again

Vacation's over! Sadly, we have to go back to school today. I woke up early so I can come to school with Asahi. He always go to school super early. One day, he went there while the gate is still closed. But instead of going back home, he waited an hour for it to open. I swear, my twin's not normal.

I checked my phone first and realized that I haven't replied to Jeongwoo's message to me last night.  We're talking every day now. And it was nice to have someone checking on you every single time.

Asamihada:
sorryyy. I was super sleepy last night.

Btw, good morning. I had to wake up early today so I can walk with Asahi at school. Hope you'll have a nice day ahead! Take care, woo.

Fortunately, he's still eating his breakfast when I went downstairs. He may not show it in his handsome face, but I know he's surprised to see me dressed.

"Good morning, my little brother." I said as I seated on my spot. I took his untouched toast and put it in my mouth.

"Yah! Make your own toast." He protested.

"Oops.—" I licked the entire toast to piss him off. "I already licked it. Do you still want it?" I asked.

"Disgusting." He replied. "What do you want?"

I smiled mischievously. We really have a very deep connection with each other. He already knows what's going on in my mind. Or am I just being obvious with my intention? Whatever.

"Umm.. Jeongwoo asked me to go to their school's Sport festival next week. Can I borrow your camera again?"

"No." He said without any of hint hesitation.

"But Asahi! It's just one day!" I pouted my lips.

"The last time you borrowed my camera, I had to see five hundred photos of Jeongwoo. And you know what? That's very tormenting. I had a nightmare after that." He said, taking another bite on his toast.

"You are so bad." But here I am laughing about it. "Just this one. Promise, I'll save for it after."

"Still a no. Just use your phone." He said.

I heaved deep sigh. "I know you would say that. Guess, I have no other choice but to keep this letter to myself?" I bring out a color baby blue envelope in my bag and sway it in the air.

Asahi's small eyes grew bigger while he's staring at the precious thing in my hand. "I don't care. You can keep it all to yourself." He said, trying to hold his true feelings about it.

"Hmm. Okay. What a shame, she said she wrote a poem inside—"

"Fine. You can borrow my camera. Now give me that." He said.

"Okay." I handed the letter to him and he immediately keep it inside his bag. "Thank you, Sahi. You're the best!" I took another bite on my toast. "And by the way, she's really pretty." I said.

"Tss."

This is not the right time to talk about this. But I am so happy to know that a girl is finally making my brother changed into something more...adorable. Look at him, blushing while staring at his empty plate. Hahaha

We went to school together. He even walked me to my classroom. Maybe he does that on purpose. Maybe he wanted to know if the one who writes him letters are from our class. But I already told him that she's not. Guess, he doesn't believe me, no?
