Part 1 || dorms

Y/N's POV

Soobin: "did you get there safely? Why didn't you call? Were there any problems-"

Y/N: "oppa stop I'm fine, I'm already here I just have to register and get to my dorm" I informed my brother through the phone

Soobin: "alright that's good- hey careful with those plates!" I heard him scold someone from the background "sorry it's been kinda busy since we opened"

Y/N: "it's alright, I promise to eat in your restaurant when I come home for spring break"

Soobin: "you better" we chuckled "anyway call me or message me when you're all settled in ok?"

Y/N: "ok I will bye oppa"

Soobin: "bye sis" I stuffed my phone inside my pocket and brought all my luggages with me. By the entrance of the building there was a guy there with a clipboard. I approached him wondering if he could help me. I hope he's nice... I heard college students are really mean and they don't care about freshman's whatsoever

Boy: "are you a freshman?"

Y/N: "uhh yeah! I just arrived today"

Boy: "that's great to hear! What's your name?"

Y/N: "Choi Y/n" He looked through the papers on the clipboard and made an 'ah!' Sound once he saw my name

Boy: "alright here's your schedule, all your professors and room numbers are written below. Your building is over there just turn left by the benches then the first building to your right are where all your classes are" he explained as he pointed at the directions with his hands

Y/N: "ok thanks!" Just as I was about to leave I remembered something "excuse me one last thing"

Boy: "yeah?"

Y/N: "where can I find the dorms?"

Boy: "oh it's just right beside your building to the left" I smiled and thanked him. Maybe the people here aren't that bad... I followed his instructions and headed inside my dorm building

Y/N: "hi I booked a dorm for myself in your website?" I questioned the boy at the front desk

Boy: "oh! What's your name?"

Y/N: "Choi Y/n" He typed some stuff in his computer and around 20 seconds later he faced me once again

Boy: "alright so he's your room key and the spare key is this one" he handed me 2 keys and I kept 1 in my sling bag and the other I just held onto it "make sure not to lose them because you'll have to pay the fine if you do" understandable so I nodded

Y/N: "thanks again!"

Boy: "do you need help bringing up your bags?"

Y/N: "no I got it, thank you" I pulled my luggage and entered the elevator. Huh, maybe the people here are nice after all

I opened the door and rolled my bags in sighing heavily, exhausted after carrying them the whole day. Great now I just have to fix my stuff and prepare myself for the first day of college next week! I grabbed my favorite book out of my backpack smiling to myself thinking about the lovers in the story

Jake's POV

I washed my face in the bathroom but then I heard the door being opened. Maybe it's just the door beside my room. I dried my face with my towel and then I exited the bathroom. My eyes landed on a girl who's back was facing me holding a book

Jake: "who the fuck are you?" She turned around and hit me in the head with her book catching me off guard making me fall on the floor "ow!" I held my head in pain

Y/N: "why are you in my room?!" I stood up and rubbed my head looking at her

Jake: "what are you talking about? This is my room" I showed her my stuff that was placed everywhere and she turned pale

Y/N: "no there must be a mistake!"

Y/N's POV

unknown: "tsk you probably asked for the key just to see me" I looked at him unbelievably. This boy is so stuck up!

Y/N: "uhm *scoff* no I did not" I ran out the door and headed to the lobby. He followed behind me hoping to resolve this little mix up "excuse me what is he doing in my room?!" I pointed at the boy

Boy: "oh hey Jake!" They did a little fist bump and I looked at them confusedly. So Jake's his name? "He's your roommate" my shoulders slumped down at those words

Y/N: "you can't be serious?!"

Boy: "I'm sorry but all the dorms are taken and since you're one of the last ones to arrive we can't really exchange your room" my jaw dropped

Jake: "be grateful, there are a lot of girls lining up to be able to share a dorm with me" I curled my lip up at him and furrowed my eyebrows

Unknown: "come on dude why you gotta be like that?" A boy came behind me and asked Jake

Jake: "whatever" he left and the boy from the desk stood up and went to the back so it was only me and this other guy

John: "sorry about that my name is John" he smiled and offered a hug. I raised an eyebrow and hesitantly accepted the hug "sorry about him he's always like that" he did this gesture with his hand and the edge of my lip curled up to a small smile curious about his actions

Y/N: "it's alright I don't really have a choice"

John: "well I overheard you're new so why don't I become your first friend?" I nodded and shook his hand

Y/N: "Choi Y/n" there was this question I wanted to ask but if I asked it and the answer wasn't what I expected it to be it could come as an offense

John: "and then again I'm John... oh heads up I'm gay" I made an 'o' with my mouth

Y/N: "I actually wanted to ask that but I wasn't sure"

John: "it's alright, you have the same face people make when they first meet me" he chuckled

Y/N: "well I'm glad to be your friend and thanks again"

John: "no problem"

Y/N: "who is he anyway?"

John: "hes Sim Jake, the campus crush. So highschool cliche right? But all the girls on campus are head over heels for him so try to be careful" I nodded

Y/N: "Sim Jake..."
