Part 11 || no school?

<time skip; 1 week>

Y/N's POV

I exited my room after doing my morning stuff. I woke up pretty early so I didn't have to get ready for my classes today. I yawned and entered the kitchen

Jake: "hey y/n!" I smiled as I saw Jake. During that one week we've been hanging out everyday for break. We'd go hangout after class or we'd eat in each others dorms. Well it's mostly Jake and I's dorm we eat in. Honestly Jake's been so fun, it was hard for me to admit at first but he's really fun to hangout with. I told my brother about him and he always says I'm developing feelings for him, even John says the same thing. John even says I look like an idiot who smiled too much around him. I always tell them I'm I don't like him but the fact that they notice and tell me this says something

Jake's POV

Y/N: "hey Jakey~" She replied back and I blushed again at the nickname. She gave that nickname to me a few days ago when we were eating some ramen in our dorm late at night. She accidentally called me Jakey and it's been her nickname for me ever since.

Jake: "by the way we don't have classes this whole week" she smiled and faced me

Y/N: "really? How come?"

Jake: "apparently the professors are taking a break I don't know why but yeah! No school for a week!" She jumped and gave a bright smile. I sighed and had a smile on my face as well. It's weird, I always tend to look for her everywhere I go or I always hope to bump into her in the halls. When I finish classes I always check if she's already at the dorm. I always seem to look for her without even knowing.

Y/N: "great cause we need a break too" she chuckled sitting in front of me. She placed her phone on the table face up and sipped her coffee

Jake: "wanna do something today?"

Y/N: "sure what do you have in mind?" I thought for a while until an idea popped up

Jake: "wanna go shopping?" Her face sparkles again

Y/N: "totally! Let's leave after lunch?"

Jake: "sure" her phone started ringing and she put down her coffee and checked the caller. She sighed and her smile dropped

Y/N: "sorry I have to take this" she stood up and said "hey Dongmin..." my smile dropped as well as I heard his name. They call from time to time and y/n laughs but she's been looking burdened everytime she communicates with him. My mood always goes down everytime I hear his name. Imagine a child excited to go to Disneyland and on the day itself the child's parents tell their kid that they can't go since they have to work. That's how I feel but imagine 10x worse. I don't know why it affects me but I always brush it off. Everytime I feel this it just reminds me of the conversation I heard Enhypen talking about

I was gonna approach my friends when I stopped and listened to them talk

Jay: "I'm telling you guys Jake likes y/n"

Jungwon: "are you sure? He knows she has a boyfriend" I leaned in a little closer to listen more

Heeseung: "yeah but do you hear her ever talk about him?"

Sunghoon: "hyung's right, we only know she has a boyfriend because of John. She never really told us herself"

Niki: "I honestly think they like each other even if y/n has a boyfriend"

Jungwon: "that's true both of them smile way too much when they're together. I've don't think I've ever seen Jake smile that much."

Sunoo: "I've never seen him laugh that much or even pay attention to any girl this much" They all laughed and I sighed. I waited a few minutes later and joined in on their conversation and pretended like I never heard anything

I look to her door and I hear her talking on the phone. I took a deep breathe and sighed

Y/N's POV

I picked up my phone and checked the caller ID. I saw Dongmin's name and I just felt like he ruined the mood or I just felt like I didn't want to talk to him.

Y/N: "sorry I have to take this" I answered the call and walked to my room

Y/N: "Hey Dongmin" I closed my door and laid down on my bed
Dongmin: "eyy why don't you sound happy to talk to me?" I'm not happy to talk to you. Oh my gosh! I just said that in my mind without thinking. No no no y/n! He's your bf you have to be happy talking to him
Y/N: "no I am, just tired" I chuckled through the phone
Dongmin: "I was thinking if you wanna FaceTime today?" I bit my lip thinking what to do, FaceTime with Dongmin or hangout with Jake? We are leaving after lunch so I could just talk to him till then. No~ but I wanna talk to Jake in that time. Aishhh
Y/N: "sure, but I'm free till before lunch"
Dongmin: "fine by me"

We turned on our cameras and started talking about random things with laughs here and there. Why is time so slow though? I thought I've been talking to him for an hour but it's been 15 minutes?! I don't even notice the time pass when I'm with Jake. I was getting kinda bored talking to him but still he was fun.

Jake's POV

While I was getting ready for our hangout I kept hearing her laugh. I sighed irritated, I guess I was slightly frustrated she was laughing because of her boyfriend and not me. I don't even know what I feel towards her anymore...

<time skip>

I was waiting on the couch for y/n when I heard the door open. I turn back and see she was in a cute outfit. Just some jeans, a loose tshirt and rubber shoes. A smile appeared on my face as I looked her up and down

Y/N: "sorry about that, let's go?" I stood up and opened the front door for her

Jake: "let's go"
