Part 18 || Facetime call

Y/N's POV

Y/N: "Jake's FaceTiming me?" I sat up and so did Soobin. He peeked over my phone and laughed

Soobin: "awww your nickname for him is Jakey~" he laughed so hard he was holding his stomach

Y/N: "stop it"

Soobin: "your picture of him is *LAUGHS* he looks like a dog with his tongue" I looked at the picture and chuckled. He does look like a puppy. I clicked the green button and put the phone in front of my face

Jake: "what did you- oh hey hey y/n" he chuckled nervously while my brother was still trying to hold onto his laughter. He was hitting someone beside him and I could hear laughs in the background
Y/N: "hey Jake what's up?" I looked at Soobin and he was making a mocking kissy face and I moved the phone away from my face and stuck my tongue out to him
Jake: "oh- oh nothing much just wanted to know how it was like on your first day back home... hey I said stop it!" I tilted my head and chuckled
Y/N: "are you with John?" That's when he came up behind him
John: "hey bestieeee" I chuckled
Y/N: "hey John" I greeted him with a smile
Jake: "so anywa- wait where are you?"
Y/N: "oh! I'm in my brothers living room we made a tent"
Jake: "oh is your brother there?"
Y/N: "oh yeah he is" I gestured him to say hi and he dragged his butt beside me
Soobin: "so you must be Jake and John?"
Jake: "oh hi hyung! I heard a lot of good things about you from y/n. I hope when we meet we'll get along. Also thank you for trusting me with y/n as her roommate"
Soobin: "I should be thanking you for taking care of my wack sister" they chuckled "I like him" he whispered in my ear and winked.

We talked for a while meaning around 30mins and Soobin gave me a groan indicating he wanted to start the movie already

Y/N: "sorry Jake I have to go but I'll talk to you soon! Love you"
Jake: "ok! I'll message you tomorrow! Stay safe! Love you lots too!!"

I hung up the phone and chuckled. I faced my brother and he was smirking

Y/N: "what?" He sat up and smirked more

Soobin: "look at your smile" he pointed at my face "gosh you're so in love with him. I've never seen you smile like that in front of Dongmin" I sighed, here we go again "c'mon I actually like him and he even said I love you" he mocked his tone

Y/N: "we always say that in a playful way"

Soobin: "is it really playful?" He raised his eyebrows and I got nervous. Was he really saying it in a playful way?

Y/N: "yah! Let's just watch the movie" we lied down on our back and waited for the movie to start. We watched for a few seconds until he came up near my ear

Soobin: "you never said no" I hit him in the face with the pillow that was beside me and we just ended up having a pillow fight that whole night till we were knocked out on the floor

Jake's POV

Jake: "no I'm not gonna call her!"

John: "oh come on, she'll think it's sweet. And anyway you're just asking how she is" I tilted my head and made a thin line with my mouth meaning it was true "so now we call" he suddenly pressed her name on my phone and I widened my eyes.

Jake: "John!" I was about to press cancel but he grabbed my hand preventing me too. I was gonna use my other hand by extending my thumb but he hit me making me drop my phone. I picked it back up and the ringing stopped making me think the call was canceled. I heard the weird sound and I realized the call didn't cancel! She picked up the phone. "What did you- oh hey hey y/n!" I chuckled nervously and hit John on his arm but he was just laughing the whole time

Y/N: "hey Jake what's up?" Gosh hearing her voice sounded so nice.
Jake: "oh- oh nothing much just wanted to know how it was like on your first day back home... hey I said stop it!" I tried hitting him on his knee since he kept laughing over and over again
Y/N: "are you with John?" She laughed which made me smile. I was gonna say something but John came up behind me and cut me off
John: "hey bestieeee"
Y/N: "hey John" she smiled at the camera, ugh that beautiful smile
Jake: "so anywa- wait where are you?" I questioned since her surroundings was kinda weird. She was under some type of thin blanket with a dim yellow light causing the glow to bounce on her face. She still looked as pretty as ever...
Y/N: "oh! I'm in my brothers living room we made a tent" she chuckled showing me the tent
Jake: "oh is your brother there?" I heard a lot about him
Y/N: "oh yeah he is" she made a gesture to him to come and say hi and she moved the phone to her brother. Wow both siblings have really good visuals
Soobin: "so you must be Jake and John?" Oh yeah I realized John was still seen on the screen
Jake: "oh hi hyung! I heard a lot of good things about you from y/n. I hope when we meet we'll get along. Also thank you for trusting me with y/n as her roommate" I really did want to thank him, y/n had made my life so much better
Soobin: "I should be thanking you for taking care of my wack sister" I nodded and he whispered something to y/n that obviously I couldn't hear but whatever it was it made y/n roll her eyes

We ended up talking on the phone for around 30mins until...

Y/N: "sorry Jake I have to go but I'll talk to you soon! Love you!"
Jake: "ok! I'll message you tomorrow! Stay safe! Love you lots too!!" I hung up the phone and sighed

John: "you realize you've been smiling for almost 40 minuets now, right?" I dropped my smile realizing it

Jake: "I have?" I held both my cheeks with my hand while John chuckled

John: "Dude just admit it you like her" I held the bridge of my nose rubbing it

Jake: "I don't wanna talk about it now" I stood up to go get a drink

John: "what if y/n finds out?" I stopped in my tracks to listen to him but didn't turn around "what if let's say you do have feelings for her" obviously I could tell by his tone that he's saying I do have feelings for her... "what do you think she's gonna do?" She might distance herself from me... I didn't bother looking at him and just continued walking to the kitchen

I took a bottle of water out of the fridge and drank it while sitting on the kitchen island. John came over and sat down in front of me and looked at me seriously

John: "I see the way you two look at each other, and do you realize how much she's changed you?" I nodded subtly

Jake: "I'll think about it"
