Part 20 || first day back

Soobin's POV

Soobin: "thank you for saving my sister" I hugged him tightly. I couldn't find any other words to express how grateful I am towards him

Jake: "huh? What are you talking about" my sister looked at me weirdly and Jake looked at me with a confused face. I smiled at him and patted his shoulder

Soobin: "you saved my sister from Minsung" y/n's eyes widened and she shifted her focus towards John

Y/N: "you told him?!" She was gonna get mad at him but I stopped her

Soobin: "relax, he thought I knew and anyway you should've told me especially is it's something like this" she sighed and looked down

Y/N: "sorry..." I hugged my sister again tightly while closing my eyes

Soobin: "it's alright I'm just glad you're ok" i tightened my hug and held the back of her head. Im so relieved my sisters safe. I looked at Jake again and gave him a smile "can I talk to you? Privately?" I could see Jake stiffen which caused me to chuckled

Jake: "uhh sure" As we went out y/n stopped me

Y/N: "don't do anything to him" she threatened me but she only looked like a bunny trying to get mad. I rolled my eyes and walked out with Jake

Jake: "is there something wrong?"

Soobin: "no I just- I really am grateful you saved y/n that night. If you weren't there I don't know how she'd be right now"

Jake: "it's not a problem, I'll always be there for her" I smiled

Soobin: "thank you Jake, I can't say this enough but really thank you" I gave him a bro hug and he gave one back. I wanted to ask him if he liked my sister but I couldn't just ask it straight forward "Jake, do you- I mean, I don't mean to intrude but can I ask you something?" He nodded with a smile and widened his eyes by a bit showing that his full attention was on me "do you have feelings for y/n?" I asked a bit hesitantly. His shoulders slumped down and he looked to the side with his mouth turning to a thin line. I patted his shoulder making him look at me

Soobin: "if ever you do, I don't mind you courting her" I gave him a wink and I walked back inside

Jake's POV

Soobin: "if ever you do, I don't mind you courting her" I looked at him with my eyes widened. But doesn't y/n have a boyfriend or does he not like him? But whatever it was, I was happy Soobin liked me for y/n. I followed him back inside with a smile and saw John and y/n face us

Y/N: "why are you smiling like that and why is Soobin oppa smirking?" She furrowed her eyebrows at us and John just chuckled at her

Soobin: "nothing just had a talk with him" he patted my back and he gave me that smile and I returned one back "well I better get going thanks again for having me" John bid him goodbye going back to his dorm and y/n and I walked him to his car "bye sis stay safe ok! And Jake" he faced me and then suddenly hugged me "thank you...take care of my sister for me" he said the last part only to me by whispering

Jake: "I will, I promise" I whispered back and he looked at both of us and sighed

Soobin: "I'll see you guys soon" he drove off and y/n and I walked back up our dorm

Jake: "so what do you wanna do first?" I asked as we went up the stairs

Y/N: "hmm wanna watch a movie?"

Jake: "sounds like a plan" I side hugged her and she laughed. We entered our dorm and she plopped on the couch right away getting out the blanket.

Y/N: "so what did oppa really talk to you about?" I chuckled

Jake: "nothing it's just boy talk" I ruffled her hair and she cutely groaned fixing it back while I watched her while chuckling.

We put on the movie and cuddled on the couch. Time passed and I looked over at her and she fell asleep. Cute. I smiled and lifted her so her head could lean on my chest and I let my head rest on hers

Jake: "I promise I'll take care of you bun bun" I kissed the top of her head and caressed her hair till we both fell asleep

<time skip morning>

Y/N's POV

I slowly woke up but felt something heavy on my head. I sensed my surroundings and I was leaning on Jake. Actually to make it short we were cuddling. I didn't move to wake him up but I remember what happened last night

I fell asleep but then I felt someone pulling me up. I didn't open my eyes anymore and just pretended to be asleep. Jake leaned my body and head on his chest as he leaned his head on mine.

Jake: "I promise I'll take care of you bun bun" he whispered to me and kissed the top of my head thinking I was asleep. My heart skipped a beat and my face felt hot. Just simple subtle words yet I feel so much energy in me. Just when I thought my feelings for Jake started to die down here he goes again with his charms...

<flashback ends>

I chuckled to myself accidentally which made Jake wake up.

Jake: "y/n? Are you awake?" I hummed tiredly and slowly sat up

Y/N: "sorry I used you as a pillow"

Jake: "it's ok I don't mind" he kissed my forehead all of a sudden and stood up "what do you wanna do today? School still starts next week so we have 1 week for ourselves"

Y/N: "hmm let's just go with whatever hits us" he chuckled pouring coffee into 2 cups. He approached me and handed me one and I took a sip "hmmm yummy as ever" Jake makes the best coffee

Jake: "well thank you" we chuckled and drank our coffees on the couch. As we were just talking enjoying our time the doorbell suddenly rang

Y/N: "I'll get that" I placed the coffee down on the table in front of us and stood up with a grunt to go get it. I opened the door and my smiling face turned into a frown in 0.1 seconds

Y/N: "Dongmin? What are you doing here?"
