Part 25 || talking it out

A/N's POV

Y/n moved around after waking up a bit. She squinted her eyes open feeling out what happened. She felt a presence beside her and that's when she saw Jake's face 3 inches away from hers

Y/N: "AHHHHHH!" She scrambled around and sat up making Jake sit up, confused to what was happening

Jake: "wha? What's going on?!" He still had to process things since he just woke up. Y/n looked at him totally shocked they slept on the same bed under the same blanket

Y/N: "what the fuck are you doing here? More specifically, on my bed!" He shouted at the boy. He didn't respond but flipped back his hair and pressed his hand against her forehead checking her temperature. At least she's not sick. He slowly got up and exited her room not speaking to her. Is he still ignoring me? What was that about then? Just as she was about to get up Jake entered again and pushed her shoulder making her lean back on her bed

Jake: "rest first, talk later" he was just trying to avoid asking about the kiss or if she even remembered. He gave her some medicine just in case she had a hangover and exited her room again. Y/n looked at the closed door and back to the pill on her hand. She swallowed it together with some water and placed the glass down.

Y/N's POV

I looked back at the door and sighed. What should I do now? I looked around my room and slowly got up zombie walking to the bathroom to freshen up. Once my feet carried my weight I stumbled right away with the stabbing headache I had. I stumbled and leaned on my side desk holding onto my forehead. I hope the pill works fast.

<time skip>

I took around an hour in the bathroom, taking my time showering and freshening up, at least now my headache's gone. I sat on the edge of my bed and picked up my phone which was on the night stand.

I wore my hoodie and my rubber shoes and exited the dorm. Walking to Jake with my hands in my pockets made me feel nervous and scared. It's just Jake but while walking I tried remembering what happened last night. I stopped in my tracks realizing. Oh god. I covered my mouth with my eyes wide open. Did I really kiss Jake? No that was probably just a dream right? But why would I have a dream about kissing Jake?! I massaged my face and slapped my cheeks together. What's happening to you? I asked myself and continued walking.

A/N's POV

As the girl approached the boy who was sitting with his knees up looking at the view, he turned around with a smile. He just felt happy seeing y/n and even though they needed to talk some things out, his feeling for her never changed. Y/n sat down beside him and they both looked at the view in front of them

Jake: "glad you came" she hummed in response not knowing how to start their conversation "I know you have a lot of questions, so I'm here to answer all of them" she was surprised that he was calm and not rude or angry.

Y/N: "well, I guess I just wanna ask what happened?" Jake chuckled

Jake: "after our 'fight' yesterday I went back to the dorm and I don't know what happened to you but later that night I got a phone call from Seungmin saying I needed to pick you up and that you were drunk" y/n blushed in embarrassment and looked down. The boy chuckled as a result easing up the atmosphere "I brought you home and took care of you then yeah" she raised her eyebrow at him since he didn't mention anything about the kiss. So that means it was a dream? "You're wondering about something else aren't you?"

Y/N: "wh- huh? How did you know?" He sighed

Jake: "I can see it on your face"

Y/N: "so does that mean..."

Jake: "we kissed?" He smirked at the girl and she widened her eyes at him and held her forehead

Y/N: "oh my god I can't believe you took my first kiss!" He was slightly happy because she also took his first kiss

Jake: "fair is fair you took mine" he faced forward and peeked teasingly at the girl

Y/N: "oh my gosh I'm so sorry!"

Jake: "no no it's ok really, it's not a big deal" he lied, he saved his first kiss for someone special but deep down he knew he didn't mind y/n being his first kiss. Y/n wondered why his vibe was so different. He was chill and it was like they never fought. She took this as the chance to apologize

Y/N: "Jake" she said seriously making Jake turn serious as well "I'm really sorry, really, for all the things I've said and done. I'm really sorry for pushing you away and ignoring. I'm sorry for assuming things that aren't even true... I'm especially sorry for not trusting you. I really can't believed I trusted Dongmin more than you. I really am sorry" the boy looked as the girl got teary eyed and wiped her tears from her face. He faced her and cupped her cheeks making her face him. Her eyes were red and her cheeks were wet from the tears that fell from her eyes

Jake: "it's ok, I forgive you"

Y/N: "really? So you're not mad at me for accusing you of liking me?" The boy chuckled shaking his head no since it was true anyway "thank you Jake, thank you" they hugged each other enjoying e ah others presence "I have something to say also..." she bit her lip nervous of what was about to happen

Jake: "what is it?" He asked in the most calm way that made her feel comfortable and safe

Y/N: "I know it's a sensitive topic but I have to say it" the boy was interested even more "I like you Ja-MM!" She widened her eyes and leaned back as Jake kissed her on the lips with an impact making her lean back. Jake moved his lips across the girls as she followed under his guide. He moved his arms behind her leaning on them, while y/n supported her weight with her arms as well behind her. Jake smiled through the kiss making y/n smile as well. Both of their stomachs filled with butterflies and their faces felt hot. They pulled apart and Jake looked at y/n with nothing but love. "What was that for?"

Jake: "you said you liked me right?" I nodded "and I already told you I like you too, and anyway we took each other's first kisses already" he chuckled. Where did he get all this confidence? I'm literally so embarrassed! He held my hand that was on the ground and smiled as I made eye contact with him

Y/N: "what?"

Jake: "will you be my girlfriend?"
