Part 10 || hanging out

Jake's POV

She seemed like she was in a trance like she was thinking about something. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts and skipped beside me. She had a smile on her face which made the corner of my lip smile too. As we walked back the environment around us was just- it felt weird yet comfortable. I turn my head and looked slightly down since she was shorter than me. Her facial expression was relaxed with a slight smile. This made my lip curve up, sighing as I looked ahead.

Y/N's POV

I pulled down my shirt and fixed my hair. Oh! I also made sure to cover up this disgusting hickey Minsung made. Im still very grateful for Jake that night... I smiled to myself without knowing and I slung my backpack around my shoulder and twisted my doorknob open. Right as I exited, Jake was there sitting on the couch playing on his phone

Y/N: "don't you have class?" He looked up at me and kept his phone.

Jake: "yup, was just waiting for you" he winked and stood up. I blushed while looking away while my hair covered my face. While looking down I saw his feet meaning he was in front of me. He lifted my chin and tucked my hair behind me ear "don't hide your face, I want to see it" he smirked and walked ahead of me. I stared at his back flustered at what just happened. I smiled walking beside him.

As we approached the entrance we saw John and Enhypen. They looked at us like they were lost and confused

Jake: "hey guys" he fist bumped his friends while I hugged John

John: "uhmm you guys are...?" He asked out loud allowing Enhypen and Jake to hear as well

Y/N: "oh! We're ok now"

Jungwon: "wait so you guys are like...?"

Jake: "we're friends now" Enhypen and John looked at each other weirdly and Jake and I just chuckled.

Y/N: "we'll explain it to you guys"

Jake: "you wanna have break with us?"

A/N's POV

Enhypen just thought the whole situation was weird. It's been one day and they're friends? John was suspicious of Jake but he knew Jake respected women he just acted like a playboy from time to time

Sunoo: "sure we all have break at 2:00 right?" We all nodded

They separated their paths and Jake explained to Enhypen what happened starting from the night with Minsung till now. Same goes with y/n, she explained everything to John.

John: "are you sure you're okay? Minsung didn't do anything?"

Y/N: "not much he just gave me a hickey here" she pointed at the spot on her neck

John: "there's nothing there"

Y/N: "pabo" she flicked his forehead "of course I covered it up with makeup" they chuckled

John: "so you guys are ok now?"

Y/N: "I guess so" the girl had a smile on her face which made John kind of concerned. He was worried that y/n would develop feelings for Jake and he knew she had a boyfriend.

John: "just be careful ok?" She faced him confused

Y/N: "what do you mean?"

John: "y/n, look, I'm scared you'll develop feelings for him" She frowned realizing this, she didn't wanna admit it but she was scared too. Her feelings started changing for Dongmin ever since Jake came around

Y/N: "nah don't worry ok?"

John: "ok~" he ruffled the girls hair and playfully slapped him in return ending with both of them laughing

Sunghoon: "what made you become friends with her?" He questioned his hyung

Jake: "nothing" he shrugged his shoulders while Enhypen gave each other the look

Heeseung: "really? Cause just 2 days ago you literally threw a book at her"

Jake: "guys chill that was nothing I already said sorry for that" they were scared to ask the one question all of them had in their minds.

Niki: "do you like her?" The other friends looked at the youngest boy surprised but also thankful he was bold enough to ask that

Jake: "guys what? Of course not and anyway she has a boyfriend" Jake walked ahead and sat down for his first class

Jungwon: "bet you guys he'll end up liking her"

Jay: "please that was already given" the boys laughed to themselves and took their seats

John: "so where are we meeting Enhypen?"

Y/N: "they said over he-"

Sunoo: "hey guys"

We greeted each other and sat down by some benches inside the campus.

Sunghoon: "so you guys really are... friends?"

Y/N: "yup"

John: "so Jake what made you interested in y/n?" The boy froze when all eyes were on him. He got even more nervous because y/n was waiting for him to answer

Jake: "uhh I mean she is my roommate so might as well get along with her right? And anyway she's pretty fun" the girl blushed and smiled like an idiot. John looked at y/n and raised an eyebrow. You never smiled like that when talking about Dongmin... I'm scared for you y/n
