The next morning, I woke up to Mayla in the baby monitor and she was crying. She normally wakes up pretty happy, but every now and then she's a little moody. I quickly do my morning routine before walking into her room.
"Mommy's here honey." I say as I walk to her crib and she looks up at me with her sad eyes and immediately reaches for me. I let her lay on my chest for a few minutes as I slightly rocked her and when she calmed down, I changed her diaper and walked downstairs. I sat her down on the counter as I made some pancakes since that's what she wanted. I let her help me make the batter and mix it even if she did make a little bit of a mess. When they were done, I buckled her into her high chair and let her eat while I sat next to her on the table and also ate. While I was eating, my phone went off and I looked down to see that Dallas had texted me. I grabbed my phone and saw she sent me an article with questioning and shocked emojis. I click on the article and roll my eyes at the headline.

Demi Lovato has been on a lengthy career break and we later found out it was because she welcomed a baby girl and wanted to focus on being a mother. We haven't heard or seen much of her this past year and a half, but she was spotted out last night with a mystery man. It has been confirmed he is a Dutch soccer player and his name is Jürgen Locadia. According to sources, the pair enjoyed a nice meal together before going to the board walk nearby and then taking a walk on the beach. They were spotted leaving the beach hand in hand with smiles plastered across their faces! We wish all the best to this new couple and can't wait to see what comes of this budding romance!
By the time I finished reading the article, Dallas had texted me a second time asking if we were dating so I quickly reply.

I set my phone down as Mayla told me she was all done and then I cleaned her hands and face off before letting her down to walk around. I kept a close eye on her as I washed up the dishes and once we were done, we went into her playroom. She decided she wanted to play with a numbers and shapes puzzle so I set it all out in front of us as she sat in my lap.
"What number is this baby?" I ask holding up the number three.
"Three!" She shouts and I chuckle and nod as she grabs it from me.
