Today is New Years Eve and I am getting ready now. I am extremely nervous because I haven't done any public events this big in two years. I am honestly freaking out. Mayla will be staying at the hotel with Tiffani because I would much rather her with Mayla then chasing after me and getting me anything I need. What I need is for her to watch Mayla.
"Why are you shaking?" Jay asks me as he leans forward a little while Jill and Cesar do my glam.
"I'm not shaking." I reply quietly.
"Yes you are." Jill speaks up and I sigh heavily.
"I'm just nervous. I have a right to be nervous." I say just as Mayla runs in the room with Tiffani right behind her and I smile big as she crashes into my legs so I quickly lift her onto my lap.
"You don't need to be nervous beautiful. You'll be fine. Actually, you'll be amazing. Right Mayla?" Jay then says and I smile as I push her hair out of her eyes.
"Yeah. Mazing Mama!" She squeals and we all laugh.
"Well thank you so much pretty girl." I gush as I bend down and kiss her forehead as she giggles. Natalie then comes over to start on my nails
"Me too." Mayla says holding out her hands for Natalie and we both chuckle.
"I don't think Natalie has time baby." I say quietly and she pouts.
"I can make time." Natalie says quietly looking up at me.
"You sure?" I ask and she nods.
"Okay, why don't you go pick out a color over there baby girl. Be careful though okay." I say setting her down on the ground and pointing to her tub of nail polish. She immediately walks over to it and sits down as she carefully looks at all the colors. After a couple hours, I was finally ready and Mayla was ready for bed.
"You be good and go to sleep for Tiffani, okay baby?" I say picking her up while making sure not to wrinkle my dress and she nods. "Okay. I'll see you in the morning. I love you so much." I then say kissing her gently and she smiles.
"Love you mama." She replies and I smile as I set her back down. Tiffani then takes her back into the room to get her to sleep and I let Jill and Cesar do final touches on my hair and makeup.
"Can you take a picture of us?" I ask Jill once she's done and she nods taking my phone from me. "Come here baby." I say to Jay who was sitting in the kitchen. He smiles as he walks up to me and he stands behind me and places a hand on my waist as we both look at the camera.
"You guys look like two billionaires on the cover of Vogue or something." Cesar says and we both laugh. She then hands me my phone back and we all head out. On our way there, I decided to post one of the pictures we took since everyone knows we're dating and it was a good picture.
