Demi's POV

Throughout the last month, Jay and I had gotten into our separate work modes. We were both busy with his soccer and me getting back into music. It did suck some nights because I would miss him, but we made it work and saw each other when we could.

Today, I am at the studio though. I have one at my house, but sometimes I prefer actually going to Oaks studio because I can also hold meetings there and have discussions about the music without it being crowded at my house. I just finished up some vocals for a song and I go to sit down on one of the couches so Scooter, Oak, a couple other label members, and I can have a meeting.

"You sound great Demi." Scooter says as I take a sip of my water.

"Thank you. I think I still want to layer some vocals and harmonize them, but it's sounding good." I reply and he nods.

"So, you actually want to get back out there? Release another album?" He then asks and I nod.

"I do. I miss it. I don't know about all the traveling because of Mayla, but we could probably arrange it to where there isn't as much in such a shorter period of time, right? Cause I know I'm not going to get out of traveling entirely." I ask.

"We could definitely work something out. Maybe do your interviews a day or two out of the week then have the rest of it off?" Scooter suggests and I nod.

"Yeah, I would be fine with that. What about a tour? I know that would be highly anticipated." I then ask and he takes a deep breath.

"We couldn't really do a tour with how we would do interviews, because then the tour would last a year or longer if we did world wide." He says and I nod.

"Yeah, I know. I guess I would have to think about that then." I reply as I run my fingers through my hair.

"Yeah, take your time on that though. We will come up with something that works for everyone." He says and I nod. We then talk about what I have so far for an album and potential roll out plans. After an hour, we wrapped up the meeting and I left the studio and got in the car with Max. When I got home, I saw Jay's car already in my driveway and I smile as I get out and head inside to see him in the living room.

"Hi baby." I say leaning over the couch and kissing his cheek.

"Hey beautiful. Sorry for not calling you, I just didn't want to bother you when you were in your meeting." He says and I smile as I walk around the couch and sit down next to him.

"It's fine. I missed you anyways." I answer as he looks over at me and I smile and place my hand on his cheek and pull him down to kiss him. "You want to go out tonight?" I then ask after we pull away.

"Just us?" He asks and I nod.

"Mmhmm. My parents offered to let Mayla spend the night." I say looking up at him and he sighs.

"I have conditioning tonight." He answers and I nod understanding even if I wanted to go out with him tonight.

"That's fine, I get it." I reply giving him a smile and he nods. After a few minutes, I get up and walk up to my room to go to the bathroom. I didn't actually need to go, but that's what I told him so I could call the restaurant that I was planning on going to with him tonight so I could cancel our reservations. I had made them a few days ago because tomorrow is our six month anniversary. I know it's not really an anniversary, but six months is still awhile considering I didn't think anything would come out of that blind date Matthew and Sirah set up. I had made the dinner reservations tonight because Jay has a game tomorrow so we wouldn't really get the chance to go out. Once I got off the phone, I changed into some sweats and took my makeup off before going back downstairs.
