Chapter Seven: Regaining confidence

If he was going to defeat Bansheera then he had to work with his friends and make sure that he held his head up high and avoided doubting himself.

"Your right," said Sean. "But how do we defeat a banshee?"

"There you go, that's the spirit!" exclaims Dean. "Banshees are harbingers of death, but there are two ways to get rid of it; one is to banish it with a simple banishing spell while the other is to attack it with a weapon made of gold,"

"A weapon made of gold. But our weapons are made out of steel!" expressed Sean. "There's no way we can defeat it without gold,"

"That's not true," says Dean. "Sean, each of you have a special weapon," he continued. "Your daggers have the ability to transform into a golden daggers, all you have to do is call to them,"

"Call to them? What's that supposed to mean?"

"Meaning, you say Blitz daggers, golden blade mode," he continued. "The only catch is that you have to wait for the right time to launch the final attack and strike the banshee it should destroy her on the spot," Sean felt slightly better now that he knew what to do, it was the perfect time too because the alarm went off as Dean raced over to the computer and pressed a button on the machine revealing Bansheera attacking the citizens. He turned toward Sean looking antsy and worried.

"Bansheera is back and she's attacking the city!" says Dean. "Sean, you must go and fight her the other rangers will join you momentarily,"

"Right!" without hesitation, Sean raced out of the bunker and morphed into his green ranger suit. He arrived at the city and launched a sneak attack on Bansheera kicking her on the back and knocking her down. Bansheera wailed as she fell and rolled along the ground and into piles of rubble.

"Who dares attack me!" she yelled as she stood from the rubble.

"That would be me," says Sean sounding braver than he used to be. "Your wails of terror ends now Bansheera!"

"The green ranger? Since when did you become brave?!"

"Since you knocked my friends down," he said. "I'm done playing Mr. Nice guy and now it's time that you felt my own attacks!"

"Bring it on!" says Bansheera as she attacked Sean by using her wailing cry. Using his observation skills Sean observed her moves looking for any openings to attack. He fought bravely as he started mopping the floor with Bansheera and not a moment too soon as he friends had appeared next to him. "What?! How can you still be mobile!"

"Lucifer and his monsters will learn that as power rangers," says Mark.

"We never give up!" yells the rangers all at once. Finally, Bansheera and the rangers fought against each other striking the banshee at once as a team. Each of them used their weapons knocked her down to a point where she could not move. Seeing his chance, Sean stepped forward and pointed his daggers into the air.

"Blitz daggers! Golden blade mode!" on cue, lightning struck the daggers as it transformed the blades into gold. Bansheera recovered quickly only long enough to realize what the green ranger was planning to do. She wailed and tried attacking the rangers, Sean's friends knocked her down as Sean ran at Bansheera and struck her in the stomach stopping slightly far as Bansheera exploded in fiery flames. "Good Riddens," says Sean finally and turned back to his friends who were cheering him on. He walked over to them and gave them a hug while in hell Lucifer once again got angry. Lucifer had underestimated these rangers and because he underestimated them, they too had underestimated him.

"What are your orders sire?" says Azazel who entered the throne room.

"My orders are to make Bansheera bigger! Use magic if you have to!" exclaims Lucifer.

"Yes sir!" Not wanting to make Lucifer any madder than he already was, he raced to a witch who was in Lucifers cells who was busy working with some sort of voodoo doll. "You! Witch!" yells Azazel catching the witch's attention. "Come with me," he says as he released the witch and she followed him to where she had gotten to the throne room and bowed.

"You called?"

"I need you to make Bansheera grow! Give the rangers a taste of our powers!"

"Yes, your majesty," walking over to the glass ball, the witch began reciting an incantation making Bansheera grow into a giant. Back in Los Angeles the rangers' victory was short lived when they witnessed Bansheera growing to the size of a giant.

"What in the world?!" exclaims Mark.

"I didn't know they could get that big!" yells Sam.

"What do we do?!" questions Katrina.

"Now rangers! My wails will be loud enough for people to hear!" she laughed evilly just as she tried striking them down. The rangers quickly dodged and landed out of the monsters way, Colby and Dean were stunned seeing that Lucifer had found a way to make the supernatural creatures grow ten stories higher.
