Knowing what was about to happen, Dean sat up and saw a cloaked figure with a hood. He couldn't even make out a face worry had flashed across his face as he was waiting for the spirit to say something. "Let me guess, Christmas Future? Correct?" the spirit nodded it's head and held out a bony hand to Dean who grabbed it. The bone felt cold to the touch as he tried his best not to show fear. Suddenly, they had started to fade away and reappear in one of the futures that was set for Dean.
There was a big fire that had hit the bunker, the rangers were also trying to fight against the dark angels and Greed but from the looks of it; they were still being affected by Greed's powers. They couldn't work together at all, not while the spell was still on them.
"What's going on?!" yells Dean. "Why haven't I shown up?!" The rangers were struck and each on dropped like flies. Dean felt like this was the start of the end of the world...again and he hated it, when the spirit hadn't said anything he turned to look at it. With a snap of its bony fingers, they were behind the bunker. Confused, Dean looked over only to see what he hated seeing in the first place. Sammy, Mark, and Dean had been fighting morphed and against Lucifer who had escaped from hell. Dean, Sammy, and Mark continued to fight but when it seemed like they were about to win, a stab to the stomach caused future Dean to dimorph and lean against the back of the bunker.
"Dean!" yells Sammy. "No!" Sammy raced over to Dean who was clutching his stomach.
"No," says Dean. "Spirit? What's happening?" while it was worthless to ask he already knew the answer. Because of his Greed and hatred of Christmas and being locked in his room. He was dying and not just in a power ranger way but actually dying. Tears threatened to come down as Dean could not take it anymore. "I don't want to see this anymore! Take me back! I promise I'll change! I won't let anything happen!" Dean kept begging nonstop wishing that the spirit could talk he closed his eyes until he felt something around him it was soft like a blanket. At that exact moment Dean found himself on the floor to the alarm blaring. Bolting awake, Dean looked at the time and saw that it was four in the morning and Greed had decided to pay them another visit.
This time, Dean was not about to let his emotions get the best of him. He pulled on his cowboy boots and raced down the stairs. From the looks of it, Mark, Sammy, and Colby were indeed trying to keep the rest of the rangers from attacking each other.
"Dean?" says Sammy. "What are you doing up?"
"No time to explain, right now we need to defeat Greed!"
"He's right," says Mark. "Colby do you think you could watch over the rest of the team? We'll be back,"
"You got it, I'll do my best," Mark nodded his head as they took off to battle. Greed was not going to get the best of the rangers let alone get their hands on the colt. Dean already saw the future and that future was something he did not want to experience. They arrived on the attack sight just in time to see the monster attacking the citizens and infecting them with his trident.
"We have to destroy that trident," says Dean. "That's the source of his power,"
"Right," says Sammy and Mark. Before the monster could do something else, Mark shot at Greed making him jump back in surprise and turn around.
"You know it's Christmas right?" says Mark.
"Yeah! It's a time for giving not a time for Greed!" exclaims Sammy.
"Well, if it isn't the power rangers but I thought there were only two of you left," says Greed.
"Nice to see you too Greed," says Dean.
"Dean Winchester?! You're a ranger?!" exclaims Greed. "Well, I guess it will be fun to defeat you!"
"Not in this lifetime," says Dean.
"Ready rangers?" says Mark.
"Ready!" exclaims the two rangers as one, Dean pressed a button on his wristwatch where it turned into a wrist morpher while the other two turned their rings slightly.
"Lightning Strike, Ranger up!" yells the rangers, Dean pressed a button on his wrist morpher and held it to the air while Sammy and Mark did the same with their morphers. Sammy, Dean, and Mark's ranger suits appeared on their bodies. The lightning bolt appeared on Mark's chest first before being surrounded by his color. Sammy's suit appeared with lightning bolts on his arms all connecting directly to the center of his chest in white, next his color appeared around the lightning bolts. Finally, Dean's suit appeared on his body with a lightning bolt going diagonally across his chest and was then surrounded by a platinum color. The three rangers helmets appeared above their heads as they placed it on. Once the morphing sequence was done the rangers were ready for their roll call.
"Lightning Strike, Red Ranger!" exclaims Mark.
"Lightning Strike, Platinum Ranger!" Yells Dean.
"Lightning Strike, Grey Ranger!" Says Sammy.
"As fast as Lightning, as strong as thunder, Power Rangers, Lightning Strikes!" says the three rangers at once.
"We'll see about that! Dark angels! Rise!" the dark angels rose from the ground as they started to attack the rangers. Calling on their weapons the three rangers fought against the enemy cutting the dark angels down like flies. Now that the dark angels were destroyed, they ran for Greed who was astonished to see how well the rangers had defeated the foot soldiers.
"What?!" exclaims Greed.
"Thunder mace!" yells Mark as he summoned his weapon and struck at Greed. "You should not be here on Christmas!"
"Gah!" yells Greed. "You red ranger scum! I'll make sure your hit next!" Greed tried to strike at Mark with his trident only to be blocked with Sammy.
"Not so fast!" he says. "Thunderlight Saber!" with a swing of his saber, Sammy sliced the trident in half making it crash to the ground.
"No!" Greed tried to fight without his weapon was continuously getting struck by their weapons until he was smoking. He groaned and breathed like he was completely out of breath. "This is impossible!"
"It's possible, and this time we won't let you try to ruin Christmas!" says Dean. "Let's put them together!"
"Right!" they say.
"Thunderlight Saber!" says Sammy as he tossed his saber into the air. "Combine!"
"Thunder Mace!" exclaims Mark as he tossed the weapon into the air. "Combine!"
"Golden Eagle gun!" yells Dean tossing his weapon into the air. "Combine!" the weapons combined into one turning into an automatic rifle.
"Lightning Strike Rifle, Ready!" they said as one. "Lightning Strike Rifle, Final Strike!" pulling the trigger the rifle went off as it traveled toward Greed who found himself getting struck in the chest.
"No! Lucifer will return!" exclaims Greed one last time before being destroyed by fire. Back at the bunker, the rangers who were affected by Greed's powers snapped out of it and realized that they had been in the bunker alone. Confusion swept across their face as they heard the door slide open. Turning around they saw that Dean, Sammy, and Mark had gotten back safely. Tara raced over to Mark and gave him a hug, not expecting it he hugged her back and pulled away. Dean and Sammy smiled at the sight but knowing that Tara had a boyfriend already was just a friendship hug.
"Dean?" says Sean. "Where were you?"
"I kind of had a little run in with some spirits but I'm okay now," responds Dean. "However, what are we doing standing around here? It's Christmas! Let's celebrate!" The rangers looked at Dean in shock. Even his own brother was shocked to hear that Dean was willing to celebrate Christmas.
"What?" says Dean as he looked at the rangers.
"It's just that," says Colby. "You seem...different,"
"It's going to take too long to explain, let's just forget everything that happened and start celebrating," Dean poured each individual an eggnog except for Mark who couldn't drink anything with alcohol. Picking up their glasses, Colby, Dean, and the rangers held onto their drinks. "To Christmas, and may we continue to fight for justice and peace!" Says Dean.
"To Christmas!" everyone said at once and clanged their glasses together. They drank their drinks and enjoyed the rest of their Christmas celebrations.
