Chapter Seventeen: Time to Blend In

The rangers bravely stood up and quickly launched into battle as Shapeshifter stood also and watched the rangers fight.

"Hey you idiot!" exclaims Morgana. "Stop standing there and join them," not wanting to make Morgana mad, he launched into battle trying to play it off like he was a ranger. They fought together until the dark angels had been destroyed.

"Okay?" questioned Sam. "That was weird, they never came for us before,"

"Maybe we were in the wrong place at the wrong time?" suggested Shapeshifter.

"Whatever the case," says Mark. "Let's get back to the bunker and figure out what's going on," Mark, Sam, Tara, and Kat took off for the bunker; Shapeshifter followed knowing that he was ever so close to finding the colt. They arrived at the bunker as the rangers entered, Dean saw them and raised his eyebrow wondering what they were doing there.

"I thought I told you to take the day off?" he questioned.

"We did but we were kind of interrupted," says Kat. "Dark angels attacked us and we're not sure why they were there,"

"I know all about them," says Dean. "I'm glad you were there to stop them before things got out of hand," he continued. "I'll tell you this though, keep your eyes peeled, I feel like there's something suspicious going on," Later that night, when all the rangers were asleep; Shapeshifter got up from the bed and called Morgana once again. If he was going to carry out this mission then he had to be vigilant, Dean was already suspicious about the situation and he was not going to give up.

"What is it this time Shapeshifter?" Questioned Morgana. "Did you make it into the bunker?"

"Yes, but I believe that Dean is already suspicious of me,"

"Keep your head, play it like you were really Sean," spoke Morgana. "Don't let your guard down,"

"Right," says Shapeshifter who then hung up and quietly left his room. Making sure that no one was around, he began to search up and down the bunker trying to figure out where the colt would have been hidden. He made it downstairs as he started to approach a metal door, he reached over and was about to touch the door when the lights in the bunker came on.

"Can I help you?" says Dean causing Shapeshifter to stop what he was doing and turn around.

"Oh uh," says Shapeshifter trying to figure out what to say. "No, I'm fine Dean, I'm only trying to find the bathroom," Dean walked toward Shapeshifter and crossed his arms acting tough.

"It's upstairs to the left," says Dean.

"Thanks Dean," says Shapeshifter quickly as he made his way upstairs. Dean watched as Sean walked upstairs more suspicious than usual. The next day, Dean and Colby were searching for anything that Lucifer would have done. Dean knew something was wrong, but he could not put his finger on it. The rangers walked downstairs ready for the day and made their way to the front.

"Dean," says Mark. "We're going to figure out how the dark angels knew our location,"

"Go ahead, I'll stay here with Colby to figure it out too," while the rangers and Dean were talking, Shapeshifter turned his ring allowing him to transmit the message to Morgana and Azazel, when he completed the task he left with the rangers as Morgana sent Azazel to attack the rangers in broad daylight at the park. When the rangers arrived, Azazel appeared before them with an evil laugh.

"Hello rangers!" exclaimed Azazel.

"How did you know we were here?!" yelled Sam.

"Let's just say I can guess where your next moves will take place," he explained. "Dark angels! Attack!"

The dark angels rose and started attacking the rangers who morphed into action and continued to fight against them. Mark went straight for Azazel trying his best to defeat him, while the battle was commencing back at the abandoned warehouse, Sean had woken up and realized what had happened. His mouth was gagged so there was no way he could break free, and his ring was no longer on his hand. He was tied against an old pole as Morgana stood from her chair.

"I was wondering how long it was going to take before you woke green ranger," says Morgana. Sean tried to speak but he could not talk especially with the gag over his mouth. He glared at Morgana wanting to knock her off her feet. "Oh, don't look so shocked," she continued. "You also won't be able to communicate with your little friends because I have the ring," Anger and frustration started to show on Sean's face as he tried to break free.

"You know, I expected this to be hard," she says. "But you made it so easy," Morgana knelt in front of Sean who was now breathing heavily. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" proving his point Sean used his head to hit Morgana causing her to stumble back but hold onto the ring.

"Why you little!" exclaimed Morgana as she held onto the ring. "You think that your ranger buddies will save you? Once my monster gets his hands on the colt then Lucifer will be free and there's nothing you or your friends can do to stop him," Sean's eyes widened as he continued to try and break free but to no avail, nothing was working if only he could get his hands on something sharp then he would be able to break free and take his ring back. Meanwhile, on the battlefield, the rangers continued to fight valiantly as they once again defeated Azazel causing him to flee back to Morgana. Later that night, the rangers had been exhausted and decided to turn in. Of course, this time Dean made sure to stand guard by the staircase with a gun and silver bullet. He knew exactly what was happening and had a distinct feeling that it was similar to the mission he had to deal with when he and his brother were working together. The creature nearly landed Dean in jail, Dean waited expecting it to come downstairs; he also knew that the metal door Sean was standing at led to the safe. Dean heard footsteps coming down the stairs, quickly he flicked on the lights blinding the person.

"Hold it right there," says Dean pointing his gun at Sean. "Hands up," Shapeshifter knew that he was in trouble as he turned around staring at a gun and knowing for a fact that the gun was filled with silver bullets. "I knew there was something off about you, Shapeshifter,"

"So, you figured me out," says Shapeshifter in annoyance. "Dean Winchester, nothing can get passed you can it?"
