Still trapped in hell, Lucifer watched through a large glass ball as the rangers had defeated Azazel and the dark angels. The explosion and Azazel vanishing from the fight really ruffled his feathers, and that was saying a lot since he was the fallen angel.
"What?!" Lucifer exclaimed. "My mortal enemies chose new heroes to protect the colt?!" Angered, Lucifer walked over to his chair and punched it, breaking a few pieces, and Dark angels stumbled. Azazel appeared before him and bowed his head, hung low and embarrassment of having lost a battle.
"My apologies sire," Azazel said. "I failed you, I failed to get the colt Dean..." Lucifer held up his hand in anger not willing to listen to his man at all.
"He chose five humans to defend the colt," Lucifer interrupted. "That doesn't mean I'm going to give up," he kept going. "I won't stop until I get that colt back and escape this horrid place." Lucifer sat down in his chair, his hands clenching into fists. "Now leave me."

The Rangers arrived at the bunker, constantly talking amongst themselves. Dean stepped out of the war room to greet the new team. His green eyes stayed on the rangers as they had talked about how each one attacked the enemy.
"You guys did a hell of a fine job," Dean said. "Even though you just got your powers, you've already gotten the hang of your abilities." Colby stepped forward as Dean watched the group settle down.
"However," Colby said. "There will be more challenges you'll face as you progress, but only if you're willing to fight," he continued. "Lucifer will not rest until he gets his hands on the colt." The rangers glanced at each other with raised eyebrows. No longer in their suits, they'd de-morphed but with the colt still in jeopardy and the constant threat Lucifer would escape it gave them a chance to get through the whole thing.
"I'm in." Mark said immediately, stepping forward. "This guy is trouble and there's no way we're going to give until we stop Lucifer."
"If Mark's in then I'm in." Sean agreed.
"Teammates always stick together." Sam said, knowing that it was his time to agree.
"I think we're all in agreement that as long as Lucifer is around, we'll be around." Katrina said, clenching her hands into a fist. She held out her hand to the center, followed by the rest of the rangers.
"Together we are..." Tara started.
"Power Rangers, Lightning Strikes!" the rangers yelled at once.
