Back at Chrysalis's castle Lucifer and Chrysalis were planning an invasion on the earth, in the dungeon, Sean and Shela were handcuffed
"I should have known that something was off about him, I should have felt it." Shela said as she was still shocked that Yan had betrayed them. While Sean was listening to Shela he was trying to find a way to get out but at the same time questioning why it was always him.
"Why does it always have to be me who gets captured!" he said. "Why not Mark or Sam," shrugging the thoughts aside, he turned his attention toward Shela. "It's not your fault, I don't think anyone expected this to happen, right now we have to find a way out of here and get of here," Sean stood and walked over to the bars sticking his hands out he felt for the lock as a smirk appeared on his face. He turned toward Shela.
"Do you have a bobby pin?" asked Sean.
Shela reached up in her hair and pulled out a pin, "Yeah why?" She asked. Sean politely took the bobby pin and started picking at the locks on his cuffs until he heard a click and the cuffs fell off, walking over to Shela he did the same thing until the cuffs fell off her wrists. Once that was done, he made his way over to the cell door and stuck his hand out touching the lock and picking at it until it clicked, and the door opened.
"Because that's how we're getting out, come on let's go," says Sean.
"Nice going, okay I think they have taken our morphers in different places." Shela said and the two of them agreed to split up. Shela snuck around the castle and thanks to her special ability no one could hear her. She finally made it to the throne room where her crystal was rested on the arm of Chrysalis's throne. Luckily, the Changeling Queen wasn't there so she ran to grab her crystal as quickly as she could.
"You know some may find your snooping around nosey," A voice from behind her said and Shela gave her former friend a glare.
"Well at least I didn't betray my friends, you snake!" She hissed at him, and then morphed ready to fight him if she had to.
"For an owl you are not very wise," Yan declared morphing himself as he couldn't resist a fight. While Shela was fighting Yan, Sean had started searching for his ring as he was rounding a corner he heard Azazel and Sombra talking. Sean quickly stayed hidden waiting for the right time.
"I haven't seen you since you decided to toss me aside after Chrysalis found me." Sombra grunted.
"You think I decided to toss you aside? I did not, your allegiance was clearly with Chrysalis rather than Lucifer!" While Azazel and Sombra were arguing with each other, Sean slowly made his way over to the ring that was sitting on a table next to Sombra; thinking that the two were distracted enough he reached over to grab his ring.
"Well, she created me with her magic, what's your excuse?" Sombra asked however then he noticed Sean trying to get his ring. His eyes glowed purple and used his dark magic to hold Sean against the wall.
"Trying to escape are we?" Sombra asked, flashing the green ranger a smile.
"Not at all," says Sean sarcastically. "I just love hanging around here, oh and one other thing," with a swing of his leg, Sean kicked Sombra in the chest knocking him into Azazel as he quickly jumped and grabbed his ring while rolling off the table and landing on the other side.
"Get off me you imbecile!" exclaims Azazel as he pushed Sombra off.
"Shut up you yellow eyed freak and help me take down this ranger, before I trap you in your worst fear!" Sombra yelled, pulling out his red sword, and making black crystals rise from the ground. Azazel summoned his dark blade to his hands as the two got ready to attack Sean, Sean quickly used the table in front of him to shove it at the enemy, pinning them against the wall briefly. He then put his ring back on and glared at Sombra and Azazel.
"I think it's time we took this up a notch!" says Sean as he twisted his ring and called on his powers. "Lightning Strike, Ranger up!" he exclaimed as his green suit appeared over his body as well his helmet. Once he was morphed he called on his daggers and made it into a double-edged sword. Yan and Shela had begun fighting, and by the looks of it no one would ever guess they were once allies.
"Owl vs Snake who do you think wins this fight?" Shela sarcastically asked as she shot arrows at him while he joined his nun chucks together to form a staff.
"Snake, I am more powerful than you!" Yan yelled as he tried to hit her, but she kept dodging his attacks.
"Missed me, missed me again," Shela taunted as he kept missing her.
"Stop moving!" He yelled getting annoyed.
"You know for a Cobra, you're really quite slow." She commented and in rage Yan tried to strike her down, however because he was blinded by rage and his enemy wasn't. Shela managed to hit his crystal causing it to shatter. Now without his powers, he could no longer be a threat.
"This is what happens when you turn your back on friends Yan," Shela said to him. Once Sean was morphed, Sombra and Azazel shoved the table away and walked toward Sean. With his daggers in golden blade mode, the enemy attacked Sean but with lightning-fast reflexes; Sean was able to dodge and roll out of the way.
Their blades collided with each other as he fought off two enemies at once.
"Just because you two are working together at once, doesn't mean I won't defeat you," says Sean as Sombra tried to swing his sword down at Sean. Sean blocked Sombra's attack and countered, practically disarming him, Sombra's weapon clattered to the floor as Sean continued to fight Azazel. Noticing that Sombra was getting ready to grab his weapon, Sean pulled out his lightning gun and blocked Azazel's incoming attack while shooting at Sombra's weapon disintegrating it.
