"Why, I took his spirit, just like I'll take yours Red Ranger," Soul Eater sped toward Mark and struck Mark in the chest before he could even react and fell onto the ground. Just like what happened to Dean, Soul Eater had pointed her hand at Mark which helped her suck out his spirit; Mark dimorphed and collapsed unconscious.
"No!" exclaims Tara. "Mark!"
"That was too easy rangers," says Soul Eater as she sped to the top of a scaffolding.
"What are you doing up there!" yelled Sean, he was very angry that his best friends spirit had been sucked from his body and did not enjoy the enemy playing tricks. "Get down there and fight like a monster!"
"Nice try green ranger," says Soul Eater with an evil laugh. "But if you want your friends' spirits back, you'll have to find me first then defeat me!"
"You stupid..." says Sam.
"Ah," says Soul Eater. "Don't say another word black ranger," she continued. "Too bad the only place you would find me is a place covered in trees and bushes," with a final laugh, she sped away till she was out of sight. Dimorphing, Sammy ran to his brother as Sean ran over to Mark who were both lying unconscious on the ground.
"Guys?" asks Katrina. "What are we going to do?"
"Let's get them back to the bunker," says Sean. Everyone nodded as Sammy and Sean brought Dean and Mark back to the bunker. Once the rangers entered the bunker, they brough Dean and Mark to their rooms and laid them on their beds. Colby had noticed what was going on and walked over to figure out what happened.
"Guys?" he questioned. "What happened?"
"Soul Eater, she sucked out Dean and Mark's spirits," says Tara. "Now we can't wake them up," Colby seemed to realize what was happening and made his way down a different corridor. Confusion swept across Tara's face as she followed Colby. "Where are you going?"
"To the library," says Colby.
"Now?" questions Tara.
"I have to do research to figure out what we're dealing with!" he exclaimed as he left the corridor. Shrugging her shoulders, she walked upstairs as Sammy entered his brother's room while Sean leaned against Mark's door.
Morgana watched from hell as an evil smirk appeared. Finally, with two of the strongest rangers down, it gave Azazel and Morgana a chance to find the colt and bring it back to Lucifer. Though, she couldn't get into the bunker without the rangers realizing it. All the rangers had to be down for the count. Not to mention, Colby was also starting to become a threat, it seemed like he had an idea about what he was going to do. Morgana highly doubted Colby was going to figure it out before the rangers gave up their search. Sean sat by Mark's bed as he couldn't believe what he saw. Mark was his best friend and inspiration, if he were gone then there would be no one left. Sammy was the same way; he had finally been reunited with his brother but now it seemed like they were going to lose. All Sammy and Sean could think about was saving Dean and Mark. Tara saw what was happening and walked over to Sean first, she wanted to see how he was doing and from the looks of it he wasn't doing too well.
"Sean?" asks Tara. "Are you okay?"
"Does it look like I'm okay?" questioned Sean as he looked over at Tara.
"I'm just checking on you," she said as she sat on the bed next to Sean.
"I'm worried about Mark and Dean," Sean Responds. "Whatever that monster did she won't stop,"
"We'll find a way, we just need some time,"
"Time?!" exclaims Sean. "We don't have time, we have probably twenty-four hours or so to find this monster and defeat it before they're gone forever!" Sean stood from his chair and stormed out of Mark's room. He walked downstairs determined to figure out where the monster was hiding. Sammy had watched as Sean walked out of the hallway and to the library. Thinking about what Dean would do, Sammy walked to the library as well. He entered and saw that Colby was going through different books on the paranormal. Upon instinct, and know well how to do research, Sammy walked over to one of the shelves and looked through them until he stumbled across a book titled: "Paranormal Creatures"
"Hey Colby, Sean," says Sammy as he pulled the book out. "I think I might have found something," Sammy opened the book and began flipping through the pages thinking back to what he had witnessed in the battle. Soul Eater was pale and faster than the eye could see, if he was right then they were dealing with something that was right around the vampire area.
"What did you find?" asks Colby as Sammy walked over to the table.
"This," he said as he flipped to a page of vampires, laying the book down on the table he pointed to an image of a woman who looked similarly to Soul Eater. "We aren't dealing with no ordinary monster, we're dealing with a Psychic vampire,"
"A psychic vampire?" said a confused Sean. "But what does that mean?"
"it means," says Sammy. "That we must find her and defeat her before the next sunrise,"
"How are we going to defeat her if we can't find her!" exclaims Sean in annoyance. His brain was no longer working, and he felt that it would have been important to think about where the monster would have gone into hiding.
"Didn't she give us a hint?" asks Sammy.
"Yeah I think so," responds Sean. "She said 'the only place you would find me is a place covered in trees and bushes' what do you make of that?" Sammy read through the book until he found a line that fit the description.
"She's talking about a cave in the middle of the forest," says Sammy. "The forest she's talking about might be the one in Los Angeles called: Angeles National Forest," he continued. "That's where we'd be able to find Soul Eater and that's where we need to defeat her,"
"Guys!" Yells Katrina as she raced down the stairs and entered the library. "Mark and Dean are awake," Sean, Colby and Sammy set the book down and left the library, they walked upstairs and entered the rooms, Dean was awake, but he didn't seem happy in fact he looked empty. Mark was the same way; he was completely lost in thought and fairly weak.
"Mark? Dean?" questions Sean. "are you guys okay?"
"How do you feel?" asks Sammy.
"What happened?" asks Mark with a low voice.
"I feel empty," says Dean. "It don't feel like myself,"
"The monster we fought today," says Sam. "It stole your spirits, made you empty," Mark and Dean looked at each other from across the hallway. It looked like they were briefly communicating with each other as if they were trying to decipher what had happened to them. Tara seemed to watch though; she could feel that they weren't themselves. Mark was usually upbeat and happy, he always joked around while Dean is more of the rough and tough person who would never let his guard down. This time, however, he was quiet and deep in thought.
