Chapter Fifteen: Test of the Leader

"Stop hiding from me mortal!" she exclaimed as she picked the machine up with one hand and tossed it into the air. "I need you to scream!" Constance got closer to the worker, as she did suddenly lightning flashed around her and Azazel throwing them off balance.

"What?" they said as they turned around and saw Mark standing on a dirt hill.

"Well, what do you know?" says Azazel. "Only one ranger, still missing your friends?"

"Shut up!" yells Mark. "Thunder Mace!" Mark's weapon appeared in his hands. "You're going down!"

"Bring it on!" yells Constance who attacked Mark. Mark dodged and fought as much as he could. But he was duly outmatched, he couldn't defeat them without his team, and he had high hopes that Dean and Colby would get his team back before it was too late. Kicking Azazel in the stomach, the yellow-eyed demon stumbled back as Constance fought against Mark. She tried to touch him, but Mark evaded the attack and struck her with his Mace. In the bunker, Dean watched in worry as Mark continued to fight.

"Colby, what's taking so long?" questioned Dean. "Mark needs the other rangers out there,"

"I'm going as fast as I can Dean," he said. "Got it,"

"Teleport them straight to battle," says Dean as Colby did like he was told. Mark struck at Constance with his weapon however, Azazel used his staff to shoot at Mark who had dodged it. At the same time, he saw Sam and Kat reappear with their weapons in hand, they flipped into the air and struck Constance who stumbled back as Spark flew around her. She cried out, shocked by how the rangers had somehow reappeared.

"What?!" exclaims Constance. "But how?!" before they could answer, Sean and Tara appeared also hitting Constance and Azazel; and standing next to Mark who felt relieved to see them.

"I'm so glad you guys are back," he says.

"Glad to be back," says Sean.

"There's no way!" yells Azazel. "We turned you four into ghosts!" he continued. "I'm not going to stick around!" Azazel quickly disappeared back into hell as the rangers were left with Constance who was now terrified and weakened.

"It's over for you!" spoke Sam. "We're going to send you back to the graves you came from!"

"Rangers," says Dean. "Only by combining your weapons will you be able to defeat Constance,"

"Right!" they said at once. "Weapons combine!"

"Thunder Mace!" yells Mark as he threw his weapon into the sky. "Combine!"

"Lightning Sword!" Exclaims Sam. "Combine!" the sword was struck by lightning as it was brought together with Mark's Mace.

"Blitz Daggers!" yells Sean. "Combine!" Sean threw his weapons in the air and combined with the other two weapons.

"Silver bow!" exclaims Kat. "Combine!" throwing her weapon into the air the combined weapon was starting to form a cannon.

"Blazing Spear!" yells Tara "Combine!" finally the Spear attached to the other rangers weapons and formed a cannon.

"Lightning Cannon, Power up!" exclaimed the rangers as one. Suddenly the cannon started to glow as Constance gasped.

"This isn't good,"

"Fire!" the cannon glowed as all the ranger colors as one joined together and flew toward Constance which struck her in the chest. She cried out as she felt herself combust eventually, she exploded into a billion tiny pieces. "Monster defeated!" the rangers made it back to the bunker where Dean and Colby were waiting for them. Mark was also extremely glad that he had his friends back and that everyone in Los Angeles who had been turned into ghosts were now back in their physical form.

"It's good to have you back," says Mark as he gave his friends a hug.

"You also did well today Mark," says Dean catching Mark's attention. "even though your team wasn't with you for long until recently," he continued. "You still showed initiative when it comes to being the leader, I'm certain that if we keep playing our cards right" he kept going. "Then Lucifer should be defeated,"

"Well, I'm still trying to get used to being the leader but today was probably the most challenging I've had," says Mark. "Lucifer can try to separate us but no matter what we will always prevail and get stronger as a team," Mark continued as he held out his hand to the center, the rest of his friends knew where this was going and put their hands on top of Mark's. Mark looked at Colby and Dean who nodded and did the same.

"Power rangers, Lightning Strikes!" exclaims everyone in the room as the held their hands up to the sky.
