Today was the day that Ethan could visit his friend Mark, his plane had landed, and the passengers had started to climb off of the plane with their bags. Ethan pushed his hands through his brown hair and got off after everyone else. Walking over to the conveyor belt, Ethan grabbed his suitcase and turned around to see Mark standing there with the biggest smile on his face. Pulling his luggage off he walked over to Mark and gave him a hug.
"Mark! It's so good to see you," says Ethan as he flashed Mark a big toothy grin.
"It's good to see you too buddy," says Mark as he pulled away from Ethan, out in the corner of his eye he saw a golden ring on Mark's finger that had some sort of symbol on it. Not thinking too much about it, Mark and Ethan left the airport and started driving to Mark's house. Mark worried that his power ranger duties would get in his way with spending some time with Ethan.
"What shall we do first?" Asks Ethan with excitement. "I'm totally down to get something from Starbucks,"
"I was thinking," says Mark. "That you unpack first before we do anything," eventually the two arrived at the house as Mark put the car in park and climbed out. Ethan followed and started making his way toward the front door, unlocking the door, Mark pushed it open allowing Ethan to enter the house. Ethan entered and made his way toward the guest bedroom, when they got to the room, Mark began to help him unpack when his ring went off. He looked down at the ring casually and whispered to himself.
"Not now," he said silently.
"What's wrong?" asks Ethan.
"Um," says Mark. "Nothing but go ahead and get settled in I'll be back when I can," Mark quickly left Ethan in his room to unpack and entered his recording studio carefully twisting the ring a hologram appeared with Colby on the other end.
"Mark," says Colby. "There's a situation,"
"What's going on Colby?" questioned Mark. Unaware of Ethan listening in on the conversation. He wondered who Mark was talking to and what he was up to, he wasn't crazy he heard a ringtone of some kind go off and he wanted to know what that was.
"There's an attack on Los Angeles," says Colby. "The others are already there,"
"Right," says Mark "I'm on my way," hanging up, Mark walked toward the door while Ethan was getting ready to grab the door handle. The handle turned and Mark pulled it open to see that his friend was eavesdropping.
"Ethan," spoke Mark. "I'll be back," he continued. "Just make yourself at home,"
"Where are you going?"
"I got to go to um.... to the store," responds Mark as he left the house and took off running toward Los Angeles. Ethan was confused and raised his eyebrows as his friend left, shrugging the thought aside, he went back to his room to finish unpacking. Mark eventually arrived at the site of the attack and saw that his friends were already morphed and fighting the dark angels.
"Time for me to join them," says Mark as he turned his ring "Lightning Strike," he spoke "Ranger up!" exclaimed Mark as he turned into the red ranger and launched an attack on the dark angels, his team was starting to win, and he was pleased with that. Dark angels were nothing but easy pickings.
"It's time for you to go back to hell where you belong!" Exclaims Mark as he summoned his weapon and turned toward the rangers. "It's time that we combined our weapons, shall we rangers?"
"Right!" says everyone at once. Sammy and Dean combined their weapons into a rifle crossbow while Mark and his team combined their weapons to create the lightning strike cannon.
"Rifle Crossbow ready!" says Sammy and Dean.
"Lightning Strike Cannon, ready!" exclaims the others. "Lightning Strike Cannon final strike!" the cannon charged as bright lights shot from the cannon followed by the rifle crossbow striking the dark angels. As soon as the dark angels exploded the rangers cheered.
"Monsters destroyed," says Mark. Realization dawned on Mark as he dimorphed along with the rest of his friends. "Guys, I have to get going, Ethan's visiting and he's probably waiting for me right now," His friends nodded their heads as Mark took off running, Sammy and Dean seemed slightly worried considering that a civilian was living with Mark. It wasn't good Ethan was going to be a target, probably a way for Lucifer to defeat the rangers and get his hands on the colt. Lucifer watched as the rangers destroyed more of his dark angels, once the rangers had a victory, he moved his hand over the glass ball to notice Mark leaving the rangers and heading toward his own house. Curiosity got the best of him as he zoomed into the house only to see that Mark had a friend who did not know anything about Mark's secret. A smirk appeared on his face as he grabbed his staff and turned around.
"Morgana!" he called out as Morgana raced into the throne room and bowed.
"Yes sir?" she said.
"I believe I know how we can defeat the rangers," responds Lucifer.
"How sire?" asks Morgana.
"Apparently our red rangers has a little friend who knows nothing about his secret life," he continued. "I say we launch an attack on Mark and take his friend with us, that way Mark has no choice but to give up the colt or lose a close friend,"
"Brilliant sire!" exclaims Morgana. "How do you plan to do that?"
"Mark will be hanging out with his friend soon and when they're in the right place, we send Gadgetron to kidnap Ethan while you and the dark angels distract Mark,"
"You got it sir," answers Morgana. "I'm sure that Mark won't know what hit him," At Mark's house, Mark had entered and saw that Ethan was already done unpacking. He walked over to his best friend and smiled.
