Chapter Forty: Saving Sean

"Now Sean, I think it's time you lured those rangers to me," she said evilly. "Go back to the bunker, pretend that you are no longer under my spell and bring them to me,"

"Yes mistress," said Sean as he bowed his head and teleported away from the forest toward the bunker. Upon arriving at the bunker, he walked through and saw his friends talking about something. "Guys?"

"Sean?" says Mark in shock. "I thought you were still with Vampiress,"

"I escaped," says Sean immediately he had to find a way to lure his friends back to Vampiress so she could finish them off and take the colt.

"No, he didn't" says Dean. "Sean is still under her power,"

"Are you sure about that?" asks Sam. "He seems normal,"

"Of course, I'm normal," says Sean. "Why wouldn't I be, but I need the colt it's the only way to defeat Vampiress," Sammy narrowed his eyes knowing very well that there were more ways to defeat Vampiress than just the colt.

"He's still being controlled!" exclaims Sammy as a smirk appeared on Sean's face. He ran at them and tried to get to the vault, but Sammy and Dean blocked his path and shoved him back. Sean snarled as he quickly turned around and started heading for the door to the bunker. The rangers followed after him, from there, Sean continued running until he led them directly to Vampiress.

"Stop running!" yells Katrina. "There's no place to go!" Sean stopped running and laughed evilly, slowly turning around.

"That's correct Ms. Stuart," before they could say anything Vampiress appeared next to Sean.

"Good job my little pet," says Vampiress as she stood next to Sean glaring at the other rangers. "Defeat them Sean,"

"Yes mistress," says Sean as he morphed in his suit and ran at the other rangers.

"Mark, Tara," says Dean. "You two deal with Vampiress, we'll deal with Sean,"

"Right," says Mark and Tara as the ran forward and flipped into the air morphing into the red and pink rangers, they called on their weapons and started to fight against Vampiress delivering kicks and punches even strikes with their own weapons. The rest of the rangers fought against Sean unmorphed until he struck the rangers making them morph into their own ranger suits.

"Sean," says Sam. "Don't let her get to you," a kick to the stomach made Sam stumble back.

"Shut up black ranger!" yelled Sean. The rest of the rangers continued to fight against Sean but already knew they were about to lose.

"Mark! Tara! Use the spear! Make sure it's charged!" exclaims Dean.

"Right!" yells Mark and Tara.

"Blazing spear! Charge!" Tara held her weapon in the air as lightning struck it. Vampiress knew where this was going and quickly called for Sean to appear in front of her.

"Don't let them defeat me!" she exclaims.

"Yes mistress," says Sean as he attacks Tara and Mark.

"Sean don't do this!" yells Mark as he blocked Sean's attack. "This isn't you," he continued as he got struck in the chest by Sean's daggers. Mark fell onto the ground and rolled, he got up and grabbed Sean by the arms making sure to disarm him and hold him down as tight as he could. "I'm not going to give up on you Sean,"

"What?" says Sean as he starts to realize what was happening. "What's going on?"

"Tara! Do it now!" yells Mark.

"Blazing Spear, final strike!" Tara sliced down with her spear striking Vampiress in the middle. Vampiress cried out in pain as she fell forward and exploded into fiery pieces. Once she was defeated Sean dimorphed and groaned in pain as Mark released him, Sean held his head looking around at the rangers; confusion swept across his face as he was trying to figure out what happened. The color had appeared in his face and he could feel his strength returning.

"What? Where am I?"

"Sean?" asked Mark while he stood up. "Are you okay?"

"You were turned into a vampire," says Dean. When Dean said that, he remembered what happened and was glad that his friend hadn't given up on him.

"I think this calls for celebration," says Katrina. "Let's get back to the bunker and we can fill you in on what happened Sean," the rangers dimorphed and made their way back to the bunker. Lucifer watched as Vampiress was destroyed and Sean was back to normal, he yelled in anger as he turned back toward his henchmen.

"I told you it wouldn't work," says Azazel. "We've tried controlling two rangers and they've still broken it,"

"Azazel," says Lucifer, starting to get annoyed with him.

"We should have done something different," he said, not hearing what Lucifer had to say.

"If you don't shut up I will send you into the abyss," yells Lucifer as he glared at Azazel making him shut up.

"Don't worry sire," says Morgana. "I'm sure we'll get that colt one way or the other,"
